It didn't actually take you this long, did it?
I just finished my post-post-ban M4gery last December, bringing the count to 5. I still need to get a riser block for my Aimpoint, because my ARMS mount doesn't raise the dot above the front sight, but once I do that I'll be golden.
Now I've just got to save up for the P2000 that FN showed at SHOT. Maybe the P90, too, but that'll depend on how much fun my friend's Five-seveN is next time we go out and shoot.

My understanding is that a Carbine is a short rifle. The Small size lends it to be used by Calvery, Paratroops and special forces, anyone were the large size of a long rifle would be cumbersome.
