So, what has Santa brought you so far?

Me, I got the Star Wars Trilogy on DVD from my brother, a shirt from my sister-in-law, and Halo 2 from Mom, plus a $35 Media Play gift card.

Why are you working tommorro Mighty? Most of the stores in my town are closed, and if they were open would have no employee's.

Because Sony's tech support is 24/7, 365 days a year. And since they have us, Sony Florida can take the day off and dump all the calls on us.

Hopefully they'll be sending people home after they work four hours...

People need tech support for the stuff they opened and doesn't work, I guess.

If I get one this year, it'll be the best Christmas ever.

My mom has to work on Christmas Day (she's an NICU nurse - sick babies never take a day off!), so we opened all our stuff tonight.

[spoiled]

- A stereo
- WoW Collector's edition
- Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
- A 450w power supply (PRAISE JEBUS!)
- The Earthsea trilogy
- Spider-Man 2
- The Spider-Man 2 soundtrack
- The RotK soundtrack
- The O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack (you know, 'cause I got a new stereo)
- A DVD of Seinfeld's stand-up routines
- A variety of excellent shirts, sweaters, and pants
- An electric razor
- A Tolkein themed 2005 calender
- Cell phone caddy
- TWO new wallets (one from a coworker, another from my parents)

I also got Stuntman from my boss (it was nice that she remembered my favorite hobby, but uh, is this game any good?), a popcorn tin (you know, the kind with caramel and cheese flavored popcorn?) from another manager, and a variety of chocolate treats from other coworkers.

[/spoiled]

Once more into the breach, my friends, once more. We'll close the wall with our dead. In peace, nothing so becomes a man as modesty and humility, but when the blast of war blows in our ears, then imitate the action of the tiger, summon up the blood, disguise fair nature with rage and lend the eye a terrible aspect.

A chinese teapot set (from class 3 grade 2)
A winnie the pooh cup (from one of the teachers)
A CD of chart hits from 1985 (year I was born)
Day-to-day calendar of mini paper aeroplanes.

(These last two from my parents who had only a day or two to buy anything for me while I was over for my grandmother's funeral so I wasn't expecting anything.)

This is for Christmas and birthday. Not surprising since I'm not at home, though.

Everyone always assumes that. It's true, some people 'only' give me one but my parents, grandparents and uncles always give me two. My family are thoughtful like that.

My sister woke me up at half 9, which is against everything I stand for, to open my gifts. So here's the list.

A lava lamp to replace the one that died a while ago.
Vouchers for books for uni.
Scars of Sweet Paradise - The life and times of Janis Joplin
Random little presents from my sister
A student's survival guide
One box of Maltesers that shall be empty by the end of the day.
Girly things.

Everyone's gone to the pub for an hour so I'm sort of on my own. But I can sit and watch my lava lamp.

Mah loot:

-A (quite luckily) fixed up car, (from my grandma)
-A new car stereo, (from mum)
-the Civilization boardgame, (which kicks arse) (from mum)
-A magnetically levitating disk, which you have to get balanced perfectly level (it seems like a spirit level possibly isn't quite accurate enough.) to stop from breaking a window or something. It's an engineering puzzle. (from my head of the bureau of meteorology uncle)
-some clothes,
-some DVDs,
-some Coldplay cds, (from various people and mum)
-some books,
-A pair of flippers, almost as large as Ian Thorpe's feet, (as a meaningful hint to get me to go swimming again...if I'd got some fungicide too, I shall.)
-some choccies (from grandad)
-homemade hankerchiefs (Quite impressive, since they were from my grandma's heavily intellectually disabled foster child. (now 50ish.)
-calenders, and miscellanities

A good haul!

I got for family:
Grandma: some proper kitchen stuff,
Mum: some books which she liked,
Dad: a bottle of fine whisky,
Grandad: a fat little Buddha,
Uncle: the cheapest home weather station I could find,
The rest: joint presents with others
