Anyways, the characters that I plan on making:
Alliance:
Night Elf Rogue
Human Paladin
Dwarf Hunter
Horde: Willias fucked around with this message on 11-20-2004 at 12:32 AM.
Orc Shaman
Undead Mage
and possibly a Tauren Druid.
Dunno which race I'll make a rogue, though.
For www.sok.org, Night Elf Warrior.
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java the thoughts aquire speed, the teeth acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
Human Priest or Paladin if they go Alliance, depending on which is more needed.
And maybe, probably, a hunter, deciding between an Orc and Troll though.
Go Horde or Go Home

UBT's little brother wrote this stupid shit:
Can't really decide between a Tauren Warrior or an Orc Warrior. I migh stick with the Orc Warrior with my same name since I enjoyed it. I'll stick with being the good guys and stay Horde.
Orcs get a racial ability to go into a frenzy at low health.
I watched one level 29 orc warrior rip UP some shit.. and he had 240/1100 health.
Sure, the stuff was level 20, but still.. So you know.
Mostly since I never got around to playing an sort of healing class during beta.
PvP server all the way.

Taurens get 5% extra hp though. I hear that is good and stuff.

And War Stomp.
But Orcs get Axe mastery, if you're going that way.
Extra damage when your low isnt going to do much in a group I'd think.

Woah, woah. I missed it earlier. Delphi has it wrong. I knew something seemed wrong. Trolls get that.
Berserking: Activate when "Wounded" to increase melee and spellcasting speed by 25% - lasts 20 sec - 2 min cooldown.
And Tauren get War Stomp: Activate to stun opponents within 5 yards - lasts 2 sec - 2 min cooldown.
Orcs get Blood Fury: Activate to increase Strength by 25% but take 5% health loss every 3 seconds - lasts 20 sec - 2 min cooldown.
All directly off WoW's website.
Realistically, they are very close to balance. Tauren are better for soloing, because Blood Fury isn't altogether practical without a healer.
I plan to use the characters to support each other pretty much entirely. I have every tradeskill for both that reason, and that I enjoy WoW tradeskills a lot, even though I disliked EQ's and DAoC's tradeskills.
I also plan to keep most of the characters at about the same level, except for the one I like the most(or the least), whichever it may be. I only played a paladin to any decent level in the beta, because I figured it'd be the character I wouldn't want to play. I liked him a lot, but I'll like Warriors better. Not sure about rogues.
I play almost entirely solo, so classes like Priest/Paladin aren't very appealing. And I just don't like Druids. I'm still curious as to how a rogue plays out solo, if anyone could inform me. I've been told he's "effective" but not much else.
If I turn out to not like him, he'll most likely turn into a Gnomish Mage who will take Engineering from the Hunter and replace it with the Rogue's old Leatherworking.

I look forward to ganking you.
Repeatedly.

You can't be a Troll Warlock. You also can't trade between your characters of differing factions.

This is true only for PvP servers.

It wouldn't make sense to trade between a dwarf and an orc, really.. No common language to hammer out the deal (Though that can be circumvented) and what's the point?

Hang on, I misunderstood. I thought he was saying you can't make characters of multiple factions.
That is not true except on PvP.
But not being able to trade between opposing chars is true.
There is a way to work around this, but it's way too much trouble.

Right. You still can't be a troll warlock, either. Shaman, yes. Hunter, yes. Rogue, yes. No warlock.

Yup. Trolls got no business with the demons.

I wish they'd make a plushie talking Murloc.

We can gang up on maradon and make him into a sniveling ball of goo.. he hates the soung Murlocs make when they aggro.

Hehehe. One time, long ago, the boards were filled with: "What's that? Guruguggugugug! The sound of your doom!" and "I hate Murloc!" threads. So they changed the murloc sound.
Then everyone was outraged and they changed it back to what it is today.
