Long story short, upon playing EQ2, do you plan to side with Freeport, ultimately, or Qeynos, ultimately. Keep in mind, it IS possible to switch tracks from where you start, so don't feel "Oh, I'm going Qeynos, because I want to be a Wood Elf."
Also, do you plan to play the same character you played in EQ1, and if not, what do you plan to play?

And my bloody God, the story that SOE came up with for the fall of Neriak sucks SO MUCH. I refuse to accept it.
Apparently, a rather fascist warlord had come to power in Neriak. Faydark had been waging war with some... thing, I don't know if it ever said, but afterwards, they were weakened. So this warlord sent all of Neriak's army to attack Faydark. The undefended Neriak was put under siege by the Leatherfoot Raiders. BLOODY HALFLINGS.
I loved Neriak so much... I would always bind there... Rest there, hang out there... I loved that city so much.
Gawd...
Poor Kelethin =(

Bwahaha!
Did they blast them with Rivervale music 24 hours a day?
I don't intend on playing the same characters I play now. EQ is their game. EQII is for my next gen. So any of my other characters will be descended from any of the current ones.
I'll miss chilling there, constantly showing newbies the way out of Neriak Third Gate, and making fun of the swimming halfling outside the Blind Fish tavern.
And now he's supposed to be the big bad guy? wtf? Did he cut off Froodo's finger and obtain the Won Ring?(Sony's gotta be careful about copyrights!)
I might start out in Freeport, though. Dunno. Is it only one character per server?
But, seriously, you gotta go for the side with Christopher Lee. He is just too cool

Nope.
Densetsu, for a few reasons, will continue on in EQ2, and will remain with Qeynos, most likely. Antonia is a hottie.
Schalaa, on the other hand, will defect to Qeynos, as she's never been evil, though she's a Dark Elf.
Wait, why am I suddenly getting exciteda bout this game??

Not trying to totally discourage anyone from betraying, but if you still want to, just be sure to have a group of friends at your level who are willing to assist. Like, a full group.
Xyrra will not be making her way into the EQ2 mythos. She's been missing for somewhere around the last two hundred years now anyways.
But I'm too engrossed in to afford starting up a new MMORPG.
Also I will be playing a Ranger. *Shock and Awe*

Yes, they are.

Putting this in spoiler just in case. These are based on vendors. Props go to a fellow beta tester. I'm too lazy to do this sort of work.

In EQ I could always out-taunt and out-tank 99% of Warriors with ease.
Some SK's know how to play their profession. Others do not.

Yep. I know when I still played EQ1 people didn't want warriors in their group. It was always a paladin or shadow knight just because they could grab aggro fast.
It's all a matter of knowing your class. People loved me in their groups as both classes. I held aggro well, and could often steal it from the opposite class with ease.
I can't believe I'm looking to go either Dirge or Inquisitor this time... wtfy
