If you didn't play during E3, you download a 62KB client, which lets you connect to the servers and the rest is constantly streamed to you, bittorent like system.. Works very well.
If you're interested in PVP at all, you should really check this game out. Naj fucked around with this message on 10-28-2004 at 01:59 PM.
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java the thoughts aquire speed, the teeth acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

Those 50kb downloads are like, totally horrible.. I agree. What class are you making, Alidane?
When you are DLing at 10 KB/s though you have far more than that it is. And having to DL 1250 files to log on after I DLed 2k+ last time the program was on...

If you're downloading from a fresh install, it takes awhile. Also, if you're downloading from a college campus it can take forever depending on what they have blocked. A friend of mine is taking 10+ mins to load up every new zone he goes into.

YOTC was going slow on his college net. My wireless hates it. Dial-up is majorly screwed. You basically aren't allowed to play with friends.

Hopefully this is only for the preview. :/
Can't complete the first mission, cause you lag out too much, you dont even know where you are bounding around or freezing up. Faelynn LeAndris fucked around with this message on 10-28-2004 at 09:32 PM.
