Well, since I've been watching Initial D, and playing it in the arcade at college...I've been wanting the Trueno AE86.

Thing is, it'll be easy enough to obtain once I can afford to pay for my own vehicle

Let's see what you guys want/have.

your dream car is a 106 hp car from 1986?

(The silver car featured in the pictures is my friends car)

This is bad, the old engine:

This is good, MY new engine:

This is where it's going to go:

This is about what it will look like when its done:

Here's a decent picture of my car, before I started to undergo this project:

Til it's all done, I just have to settle for this(The cute little japanese truck under the asian girl, not the asian girl, who is my fiance):

[edit] Blindy, here's a link about the AE86. Conviniently it points out it produces slightly more horsepower than you claimed but still. They're great fun little cars to drive around tight tracks.

About my stuff, I have a 1982 BMW 320i (1983 by sale date, 82 by manufactur, main difference being a few drive line parts, which won't matter when I'm done with it) that is getting motor swapped. I'm dropping in a newer 1.8 liter DOHC engine to replace the SOHC one, which is no where near as easy as Honda boys get their swaps. I hope to later super charge it to bump the power from 140 to 210bhp giving my 2500lbs German box som serious potential if I can ever drive it well.

The truck is a 1995 Mitsubishi Might Max, which has been serving me well. Although the A/C blew out on my trip to California to get my new engine. That wasn't too much fun. Oh well.

Well...I'd like to modify it to the same specs as the car in the anime.

I don't care much about power much. I think the car revs up to 13000rpm. In the game at least, it tops out at almost 220km/h

Other than that car...I think I'll keep my '03 sunfire and mod it...or get a Delorian.

Another good one. I hadn't thought of that.

Of course, I'd settle for an Edelbrock 350 FI Performer and the time and know how to shoehorn it into my current car.

Volva 2 series with a supercharged 502. Nah, let's dream big: a supercharged 572(or, failing such an application, a 572 with nitrous). Of course, realistically, I'll probably settle for for a normally aspriated 350. Either way, it'll be a V8 Volvo.

I just want enough money to fix up my 93' Celica GT Convertible... I love that thing, but the paint job sucks, and it's a little underpowered... Considering i'm only 17, though, its a great car! Other than that, I want to get one of the newer mustangs! Usually I don't like Ford, but bringing back the late 60's early 70's style was a great idea.
