Mountain Dew has, for a limited time, a fifth flavor Pitch Black. A black grape soda. Mmmm Tastey. So what's next Mountain Dew Cream Soda?

Please let me have this delusion that I'm the first one to know about this. Hell, who am I kidding. Any comments on this new flavor?

I like it. It's smoother than most grape sodas.

It will be going away in about two months. Then Pepsi Spice comes out for a couple.

Assuming Livewire is white, then Pitch Black is black, Baja Blast is blue, Code Red is red, and standard is green.

Bajah Blast is a lime tasting dew that seems to only be served at Taco Bells.

Overall it's not bad but I'd rank it lowest of the dew types for flavor.

I have to try Baja Blast. Anyway I am not disappointed with all of the Dew flavors. they all are yum to me.

I like it. Yeah, it tastes like carbonated grape Kool-Aid, but there's nothing wrong with that!

My preliminary ranking would be slightly above LiveWire, and far below the majesty that is Code Red.

And I think it will be along longer than two months. New soft drink flavors can't be cheap to develop; that's why I wasn't surprised to see LiveWire again this summer.

I am interested in the Pitch Black... and I have not tried, or even seen this Bajah Blast, even at Taco Bell. Is it BlueBerry? Blue Berry Drinks ROCK! There was this Blue Hi-C drink a while back that I can't find anymore that just kicked ASS, and it wasn't even a soda.

I like Regular Mountain Dew as well, its like a DnD Standard.

The Baja Blast is actually lime! It's fantastic mixed with tequila.

Sadly, I haven't been able to find the Pitch Black around here yet!! I must try this!!

Original Dew - Sucks
Code Red - Ok
Livewire - Good
Baja Blast - Also Good!

At least grape, like lime, is still a fruit. But really, if they start making cream soda and that sort of thing, I'm boycotting Mountain Dew. -_- Of course almost the only non-dairy thing I drink besides water is Sobe, but still...I'm sure at least one or two other people out there will start boycotting it as well *hint hint* I'm kidding. Soda is soda, as long as it tastes good and doesn't get you addicted to cocaine, who cares, right?

We weren't able to find any Pitch Black yet, we went to several stores on the weekend and couldn't find it. UBT really wants to try it, so we will keep looking.

Original Dew - yum!

Code Red - tastes like cherry cough drops to me

Livewire - I love orange soda!

Baja Blast - The one time I tried it, it was warm, like they had just filled the machine. I thought it was icky.. I might like it if it was cold, I really like lime.

Pitch Black - Still have yet to try.
