Wow..this place is really dark.I can't see anything around her but the trail*she hooks a strand of her hair behind her pointed ears*
Lorien is walking down the road towards Faydwer. "Hey Lorien wait up!" a high elf girl 88 years of walks up behind him out of breath. Lorien stops and looks at her. "Galadriel if you cant keep up well camp just dont fall behind." the stern look on Lorien's face was enough to make a ghost scared.
Lorien finds himself pitching 2 tents. "LothLorien how is it that she gets tired so fast?" he said looking at the floating staff. "Shes Young for a elf just you have to give it time." The voice came from the staff.
Galadriel hears footsteps while by the stream,Half-elf footsteps, she stands there yelling for Lorien, who is soon there with his staff in hand waiting for whatever was to come.
ooc:
Is that an ok entrance? My character is in Lesser Faydark too.
A swift and unforgiving kick to Dugall's side abruptly tore him from his dream bevy of women and sent him into the reality that was..."Wake up runt, time for your patrol" A reality brought onto him by Indigo Dragoon S'zorn. Dugall nodded and crawled into the makeshift armory tent. Eight minutes later Dugall stepped out. He was wearing Black bone mail tunic, pants and boots. On his right bicep was a tattoo of his guild in red, and a barbed whip design in black. Over his shoulder was his belt, complete with two dagger scabbers that held Tic and Tac, two magical daggers that were given to him on a wood elf raid that was a welcoming party for him in the Faydark. Both daggers were small, jagged, and Dugall was good with them. Tic gave off a very faint blue iridescent glow, and Tac shimmered green whenever adrenaline pumped through his veins. Aside from the fireworks, they both bit deep when they hit an enemy and were incredibly sharp. Not once in the entire year of his ownership of them had he ever had to sharpen them. They punched through the heaviest plate as if nothing. Along with a small travelers pouch in which Dugall kept his supply of shruikens, there were a few pouches that held bits and peices of knicknacks he had collected in his time on Faydwer. His Ebonite bow was slung over his shoulder and its accompanying quiver secured to his left hip. Dugall was young, for that he was proud, Graduating from his training first in his class. His hair hadn't even begun to turn white yet. He sported a small tuft of black hair on his chin and his deep red eyes were simply magnets for the opposite sex back at home. Dugall popped his neck bones and stepped outside the tent hpoing to sneak away before the priestess caught up with him....He diddnt. High Priestess Lyidara was waiting for him outside. 'UGH,' he thought, Dugall hated the priestess and her damned blessing. Oh well, no escaping it now, Dugall kneeled and listened to the haunting words of the rhyme he was made to memorize as a child. Hate from the father, Hate to the one, Have Hate towards all, Your peers shall be none.' Dugall waz gone the very second 'none' rolled off her tongue.
The patrol was uneventful for the most part. Dugall wandered close to the patrol path. After a quick lunch he resumed on his way. Normally, he would not have noticed it. But far off in the distance there walked a Wood elf in Studded armor with a large black wolf walking with him, matching strides evenly. Adrenaline surged as he leaped upwards and hefted himself onto a tree branch and out of sight just as the man came into viewing distance. Frozen, Dugall diddn't look at him, hoping he would pass. The man diddnt notice him...but the damned dog did.
Grrrrrrr...
ooc:
Grey...grey wolf The wolf's (temporary) name is "Rain"
Taavi froze midstep. Carefully he set his right foot back a step and into the grass. Rain had spotted something, or heard something at least. Taavi didn't turn, or move for that matter, his simply stood still, listening to the slight breeze, trying to feel for the presense of another being. He didn't want to risk casting a spell, which would locate the thing that was bothering Rain in a matter of seconds, but Taavi knew a more efficient method. He lowered himself into a crouch, Rain stepped back to be next to him, and Taavi used the small cover to pull one of his two remaining throwing knives from his belt.
"Quiet Rain, quiet." He whispered, the wolf silenced his growling. Taavi closed his eyes, and then heard the slightest noise coming from an over-strained branch.
In a smooth and very sudden motion, Taavi stood up, whirled around and swung his arm out, the dagger flying over and slamming into the branch that the dark-elf was hiding on. Rain leapt forward, running to the tree and jumping up, his two front paws as high as they could reach on the tree trunk, teeth bared and growling as he watched the dark-elf. Taavi moved closer as well, pulling and arrow from his quiver and removing his bow from his back. As he got a good look at the dark-elf he snarled, pulling the arrow tight into the bow...
Dugall braced himself as the man nocked an arrow. This might hurt a bit. Just as the bow was pulled to full strength Dugall flashed foreward, landing about ten feet from the tip of the branch and rolling another fifteen feet, coming to a stop behind a tree trunk. Almost instantly, a shruiken was in his hand. Dugall popped out from behind the trunk and let it fly at the man...
"Ricon come here." Came a voice that shook with sterness the fox walks over to the male and then female."Who goes there." Lorien steps into view,"I am Lorien thee adept control wizard."
ooc:
I didn't reply to the "who goes there" thing cause the timing wasn't quite right for a response from Taavi
ooc:
Don't have your elf die or anything Siliddar I'm thinking of a couple things to do about Taavi attempting to capture Dugall.

Auto'ing is my enemy
As is mind-reading.
As is not reading my post.
TAAVI IS AN ELF.

Daniel Gow's unholy Backstreet Boys obsession manifested in:

Ok, first of all the Auto'ing thing was my mistake i try not to auto as much as i can, unless necceriy. Galadreil can mindread as a natural ability.Technicly i read your post or i wouldent have mind read. THE ELF THING WAS A ACCIDENT SORRY!
However, you call that a necessary move against my character? How in the hell was that needed? For that matter why? Taavi didn't provoke an attack in anyway.
And another thing, Taavi didn't "think" that the two high-elves are a threat, at least not in a way that could be "read" by a mind-reader. If I had any text that was specifically in thought, then I would accept the fact that it was read.
Example:
~They don't look like much of a threat to me.~ Taavi thought.
That is what I would write if my character 'spoke in his mind'.
I have no problem with mind-reading, it is perfectly acceptable and while we all know this is an EQ story-line, I accept the fact that I'm pushing the boundaries of the EverQuest realm by having my ranger walking around with a pet wolf; which is a spell I don't recall seeing on the Ranger Spell List. So you can push those boundaries with your mind-reader too, but since there was nothing for Galadreil to 'read', then she wouldn't have known that Taavi did not consider the two High-Elves to be a threat, in which case the attack should not have happened.

I understand i am sorry i was thinking you thought that your right the battle souldent have taken place so how about this just ignore the battle i will edit?
ooc:
Okies, I'll just start from the "unkown mission" part, don't have to edit unless you want to.
A strange, almost comical expression crossed over Taavi's face as he started walking towards the dark-elf that was presumably unconcious.
"Oh, well...okay." He replied, his curiosity level about as high as it could go...words about a secret mission coming from high-elves always got Taavi interested. He reached the fallen dark-elf, and kneeled down to check for a pulse.
"I sure wouldn't camp here, ran into this guy as I was walking through the woods. Must be a patroller...anyway there's also a large population of orcs to the south. New camp of theirs I guess. If I were you I'd set up your tents near the gnomish outpost, or closer to the Greater Faydark." Rain growled as the fingers of Taavi's left hand touched the dark-elf's neck.
~What is it Rain? The guy's unconcious...he got hit with one of my arrows!~ Taavi thought, glancing at the wolf.
"Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. You are assigned a secret mission so you immediatley inform the entire forest at the very first opportunity."
Constellation rolls his eyes.
"I do hope you'll forgive my intrusion, but such an unusual gathering piqued my interest and I was unable to resist my curiosity."
The high elf arches an elegant silver eyebrow and turns to Taavi.
"You look to be an intelligent sort, cousin. What goes on here, and what is a teir'dal doing in our land?"
ooc:
I hope you don't mind me jumping in, and Daniel, if I start getting too flashy like in the last couple threads I was in, (*makes a gagging noise*) please stop me lol.
ooc:
Who, you? Go all flashy and fancy? Never!! Hahaha, *ahem*Well, anyway, I probably shouldn't make an IC post yet, not until Siliddar has Dugall do something nasty or suprising to Taavi.

Ooo: I'll do it later, you go ahead. Dugall is Thoroughly knocked out...and quickly losing blood at the moment...
ooc:
oh, geez, sorry I wasn't trying to kill your character
Taavi thought he could feel a slight drop in the normal blood pressure of a dark-elf as he checked the unconcious "darkie's" pulse. He rolled the elf over and inspected the wound while his keen hearing picked up a newcomer to the party.
~Dayum, these arrows have an interesting effect against dark-elves...something to add to my report to Maesyn...~ Taavi thought, pulling a small compression bandage from a pouch at his hip and applying it to the shoulder-wound. After carefully wrapping a bandage-roll around the shoulder and opposite side around the the dark-elf's chest, the bandage was held in place firmly and the bleeding was just about completely halted.
"That should do the trick." He said quietly, then standing up and taking a quick glance at the newcomer.
"I met this dark-elf here while I was walking through the forest, I believe he's alone. As to why I'm here...well...like you say, I wouldn't want to broadcast my reason to the entire forest now would I?"
Lorien walks over to the highelf. "For all your concerned we will do this in are own matter, if the forest is told so be it."
OOC:i dont meen to control if i did but i dont think after a hard pounce on the back from the back would constelations still be abble to stand.
"You won't do that again."
He turns to his supposedly fellow High Elves and glares.
"I am far less fragile than I appear."
ooc:
Don't kick wolves!!
ooc:
Hey! The wolf pounced on ME nature boy! Besides, I'd think it was abundantly clear that I'm not in league with Tryb's elves. People seem to have this thing for ganging up on me.
ooc:
WHAT? I'M NOT GANGING UP ON YOU!!*Pounces on Constellation*
Ahem...err, yeah ok. I know Constellation isn't happy with the other two high-elves, but Taavi's still upset because he's befriended a wolf, and so kicking another wolf isn't a nice thing to do around him.
quote:
Quite rusty indeed.
"OOOHH, I am SO scared! Bring it on pound puppy! I'm in a damn feisty mood and a good fight is just the ticket!"
He rolls up his sleeves, then looks around.
"Hey, where'd that dark elf go?"
quote:
You might live if you want to...but your out for a while try. A serrated, jagged, magical dagger that could punch through steel plate will ruin anyones day.

Okay, guys...the Auto'ing is getting a LITTLE out of hand here.Silidar, did you really have to drive both daggers into the backs of their skulls?
In response to Constellation's taunt, Rain's eyes glowed bright red, his teeth seemed to become a little sharper, and his growl became just that much deeper...
Taavi had his back to the other two high-elves as he pondered whether or not he should try and calm down Rain. The slight breeze passing through the trees was enough to tell him where the two High-Elves were. As was the movements of someone else...
He was spinning around in an instant, a hand snatching an arrow and loading it into his bow. The bow was pulled tight, aimed at a tree. He had heard the sounds, felt the subtle change in the wind patterns and knew exactly where the dark-elf, and the two fallen High-Elves now were.
"COME OUT DARK-ELF!! COME OUT OR THAT TREE WILL BECOME A PILE OF CHARRED ASHES, AS WILL YOUR LIFELESS BODY!!" His voice thundered across the distance between him and Dugall.

working on it now...should come sometime this weekend.
Dugall was in some deep trouble. Any other man would call out to whatever god he worshipped at a time like this...But not Dugall. A man without a god cannot call out to his god. Dugall relies on himself, and at this moment. He knew that what was about to happen might hurt...alot. As he was thinking the best way about getting away from the wood elf and the caster, he heard a familiar jingle and scrape of platemail ahead of him. Quickly he shifted his vision to his dark elf Ultravision. Peering between the trees he located the noisy elf along with the pale heat signatures of 2 other elves wearing armor quickly fanning out in front of him...
He was trapped.
The leader of the group of armored elves, keeping his halbred at ready slowly walked up to him. The two's eyes met and they stared at each other for a long moment.
"You are surrounded Teir'Dal."
"So I see."
The leader appeared to be of somewhat high leadership rank, possibly a Luitenant from his insignia, and was as stern and fearless as Dugall. Slowly, as not to surprise the feir'dal, Dugall gradually sheathed his twin daggers and raised his hands in submission. Closing his eyes and bowing his head he wondered what S'Zorn would have said had he been watching. Probably some tripe about faithfulness to Innoruuk. S'Zorn would've lectured him about using his hatred to smite the high elf where he stood. Dugall had no hatred. He had never used hate; he believed that hate clouded ones thought process. Skill is what had flown Dugall through the academy, not any emotion from some ,Prince, of a god. Dugall reflected on memories of Neriak as the other two soldiers rushed up and bound his hands together..

Edit: added some description to the feir'dal patrol
