I've already gained levels in Exploration (Decreases the speed penalty for rough terrain and hills), Survival 1 (Lets me forage), Intermediate Rifle, and advanced rifle.

I've decided to make my scout into a Ranger in the end, with a secondary of Marksman (Rifles, really, for Combat).

And I've already found one bad thing about the game... 10 people attacking 1 target... they'll all get the same EXP when the target goes down as if one person was killing the target by himself. I solo'ed a couple easy Swoop Gang members, then five people attacked my target next time, and we all got the same EXP... just get 10 people together and attack at once and everyone gets the EXP...

unless it's all been changed... there is no single class that will allow it. It's a predetermined set of circumstances as well as quests you have to complete to open up the "Force character slot." Some people will never get it.

Right. So what mobs do I have to camp?

Why does this make me feel like it's a roll of the dice based on your CD key or something lame like that. Or better yet! A GM event where yoda flies around with a magic wand enabling people!

The sad part is that the EXP granted doesn't even base itself off of damage being dealt to the mob.

One mob was near death when I attacked. My shot missed; I did ABSOLUTELY ZERO DAMAGE to it, yet I still got 200+ rifle experience by attacking that yellow mob.

Whereas soloing a white mob usually nets me 100-120 rifle experience.

And camping EXP is easy as hell to build up as well. Find a group who's out fighting mobs, set up camp near them, tell the group to rest at the camp when they need to. Leave the camp up, go AFK, come back 30 minutes later, net 1000 exp easy as hell.

At first I thought I'd go to Coruscant to talk to the jedi council or something, but, alas, no Coruscant.

Dagobah would be too obvious, and besides, there isn't one.

I've been reduced to walking around looking for anyone who looks like Mace Windu and going "PLEEEEASE PLEEEEASE MAKE ME A JEDI! PLEEEEASE PLEEEEASE MAKE ME A JEDI!" and when they go "Dear God man I'm just trying to hunt butterflies!" I go "Is this a test!? DID I PASS!?"

No Jedi Council, either.

Not for some fifteen years after the game "takes place", if I did my math right; And even then it's hardly more than Luke, a handful of Knights, and some trainees on Yavin 4.

No Yavin 4 either.

And I had no idea the game took place post-episode 6.

It's set during Episodes 3-6.

That made no sense at all, since D said the things that happen after episode 6 wouldn't have happened for years into the future in the SWG world.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. So I know it isn't happening after Vader dies.

Open your Datapad and look at the mission details; it should tell you how much and what kind in there.

The game takes place shortly after the destruction of the first death star.

And yes, Khyron's right, you gain exp too fast. I expect to see the first Master Bounty Hunters before monday. Personally I don't mind that, it's good for casual gamers. I don't mind getting combat exp for just being grouped and not actually hitting a mob, so entertainers, medics, and artisans can gain good exp too.

How about asking that after they put in the stuff they left out of release, like space travel. Otherwise it's just probably a mission saying like "Hey, heres some illegal material, take it to guy out in the middle of no where. Dont let anyone see!" kinda thing.

Speaking of travel. I bet someone already has enough credits to have bought a vehicle.

Well shit, that's kinda depressing. If I wait to buy SW:G until ships come out to smuggle I'll be really behind and can't be Esear Kuin the ultra famous Bothan Smuggler.

Wouldn't being ultra famous be a severe career liability for smuggler? I mean, you land at the spaceport and the customs guy goes, "Hey! You're that ultra famous Bothan smuggler, whatshisname. I was just gonna wave your ship through, but since it's you, we're breaking that puppy down to it's component parts because I just KNOW you got some good stuff hidden in there."

Bounty Hunting looks to be... dumb.

You don't get mission waypoints for it. You have to send droids out to find your bounty, and once you do find it, it isn't always there, it may have moved, you have to send more droids out to find it... bleh.

Bouunty hunting isn't meant to be the easiest of professions. If someone has been in hiding, they wouldn't go around giving out their postitions so someone could put a big shiny waypoint over em, would they?

Creature taming is sounding more and more interesting..was reading a guide for it. To tame a creature you have to go out and fine a baby of a herd of critters, then mask your scent and slowly walk up to it then hit your /tame button. If you're successful, you then have to /train it commands such as follow, kill, group, etc. Once tamed and trained you can store your pet in your datapad to call up when you need it. It'll grow over time, slower in storage, faster out in the field. It'll also ask you to feed and play with it. ^.^ You can have multiple pets out at once as you gain experience, and many in storage.

Can't wait till I get there

This is twice now I've gone to the same waypoint between Restuss and Naimle for a "sample" from the same quest giver. First time, the resource I was supposed to gather didn't even show up in the quest until I got there, and wouldn't ya know it, I didn't have a gas sampler built, and got killed while surveying.

Second time, the resource needed was still blank. Then I went linkdead. I needed the credits to train in Tinkering 1, too. Hope I still have that exp...
