How about the fact I just tried to log in and it seems Chilastra and Starsider seem to be down - my characters show up serverless, bald, and wearing white boxers and wifebeaters.

Login is up, servers are still down. Your character is not gone, the information is just not being retrieved because the servers are not there
Methinks maybe somebody noticed a bunch of people unlocked Jedi slots too early.

Creature taming is sounding more and more interesting..was reading a guide for it. To tame a creature you have to go out and fine a baby of a herd of critters, then mask your scent and slowly walk up to it then hit your /tame button. If you're successful, you then have to /train it commands such as follow, kill, group, etc. Once tamed and trained you can store your pet in your datapad to call up when you need it. It'll grow over time, slower in storage, faster out in the field. It'll also ask you to feed and play with it. ^.^ You can have multiple pets out at once as you gain experience, and many in storage. Can't wait till I get there
yeah, im looking forward to picking up creature handler.
Now he's ranting and raving about taking it back, which'll be interesting to see since *I* paid for it. I keep trying to tell him that it's opening weekend, a popular game, and primetime, but he won't have any of it.

I'm attributing all the other shit I dislike about it to the fact that I don't know the game mechanics well enough. Like combat. I was getting creamed in combat because I was fighting creatures that close in to you fast; I was taking too much damage because I was trying to use a blaster in close combat. I have to go get a melee cert tonight; What I'll end up doing is using my rifle until the creature aggros then switch to the melee weapon I pick (Haven't decided on one yet) the second it starts to run to me.
I'd prefer just using a rifle only, and not having to worry about knives and shit... but as a scout that option isn't open to me.
Old skool style.
