Is this the one where Harry loses his virginity?
I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

My ex-girlfriend and her best friend have been waiting in line to get it since noon today. They're going to sit in Barnes and Noble till 5 am reading it. My ex-girlfriend's best friend plans on having it done tomorrow before two or whenever I call her to get another drum lesson.

Cutting people in line for a Harry Potter book as a way to impress women? That idea is so bad it could have been mine.

Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.

I pre-ordered, too, so I wasn't too worried about my place in line. We got there at about 5:15, so we got a great parking place right outside and our numbers were 54 and 55, so we had a good place in line. The festivities didn't start till six, so we wanted to get there early. Starting at six, they had us line up to get a ticket for our place in line. You had to have a ticket to get in line.

But I knew mine was assured, and Deth as well, cause we pre-reserved, so all was good. I had fun. They showed the two movies in the cafe, they had activities like Owl Post and drawing a magical creature for Hagrid, a trivia contest, making your own wand, guessing jelly beans, and then special things like a creature guy coming and showing all sorts of animals, and some other stuff for little kids my nephew enjoyed. (He's 10).

All in all, I'm glad I went. Because I worked on weekends all the time before, I was never able to go to any previous ones. So this was pretty nice.

Since it became a phenomenon, they've usually had release parties for it the night before leading up to the purchase at midnight. At least around here.

And this book has been long in coming, since she took off a year after she got married.

Didn't have enough time free in one span.. but finally finished last night. Loved it a ton. Quite fun... except, that darn chapter near the end about O.W.L. tests, seemed to almost throw the pace off

Now... to reread a few parts that seem a little blurry for some reason

I really did think Hermione was going to bite it, but alas... she didn't
