remember drys, we're a majority of geeks who flee from sunlight at any possibility, bright yellow is perhaps a bad choice in a color to put anywhere but very small letters.
I'm also noticing some change in the buttons, to a kinda less unique look, I don't like that, as I recall the post reply button had its own matching text
no this is not an initial reluctance to change, I really say I'd be happier with the old theme, OR, if it is within thy power, give us the option of new or old scheme, and then make all newcomers and viewers see the current one!
so to summ it up
the hard work: appreciated
the color scheme: obviously worked on, but perhaps to no avail
the request: allow us to have our scheme back, giving an even greater
sense of special fuzzies at being older members!

Blues may be okay.. background far too bright, links need serious work. Not likely to grow on me.

I voted 3, though. I've seen the colors change before...I can see why you did it. I think most people don't like it because it's different from what they knew (it happens), but I could be wrong.
I liked the sedate colors of the old board scheme...they kinda flowed together. Blue and Gold look good together (my high school colors), but the gold bars are...eh...
