The games are what make the system, IMO. Wild Arms 3... MGS2... FFX... KH... DMC1... not to mention the upcoming Xenosaga, .hack, DMC2, FFXI, Vexx...

Nah, they use microsoft's shit. It's as smelly as the rest, but it costs twice as much. They over-hyped it, and gave you great shit but not much to do with it.
PS2 shit isn't as high quality, but there's tons of things to do with it and tons more on the way.
NGC shit is pretty good, higher quality than PS2 shit, not as many things to do with it, but what there is is very fun, and they have some decent new things to do with it on the way.

The only reason it's so big is because they'll publish anything anyone comes up with. For every MSG2 there's 142515809185091 The Bouncer's and H30 Surfing's. But I don't go into every thread involving an PS2 and go, "ROOFLES PS2 SUX!~!!^!!"

Me and Khyron have an educated, informed opinion on the Xbox. The games are not fun, most of the stuff on it is ported (Save steel batallion), and microsoft is trying to pull deals out it's ass to get it to sell.
Maradon's opinion consists of "OMFG ITS KIDDY ONOSE!!" and that's basically it, from what I've seen.

I do have to agree there. That sucks. But I only rented it so far, haven't bought it, and I chalked that up to something I would get the hand of acquiring had I more time to play the game.
I really enjoyed it, though. And I'm not a huge platformer fan, although I had played Ghosts and Goblins (I think that's the name. The Super version always makes me confused) when I was younger.

You're true, but I'd like to make one point : Even though over 2/3 of the PS2 games out there now are POS games, the remaining 1/3 is still better than the entire library of all games, good and bad, for the X-Box.
NGC is getting strong, tho. I plan on getting a NGC, I already have a PS2, and those are the only next-gen consoles I would recommend to anyone.

I have nothing against the XBox as a system, but nothing it has presented so far has tickled my fancy enough to make me want to buy it. The graphics are definitely top par, but the game selection leaves much to be desired, at least for me.

The gamecube doesn't hold anything that I like. I can enjoy SSBM for a short amount of time, but that's just playing it when other people have a gamecube around. The other games I've played I haven't really liked much.

TVs are heavy! TV stores can stack TVs correctly without breaking shelves.
From what I've seen, I do have to say I like the look. It just doesn't have any games for me.

Don't you guys sell speakers? If I recall correctly, some of those speaker boxes are a great deal heavier than Xbox boxes.
Consoles aren't like PCs. You don't use a different graphics card and magically get a better looking game.
