Topic: Battlefield Performance Test -- READ ME

I've just put a program up to do some performance testing for the graphics system the Battlefield Client uses. This is not a playable demo, in fact its not a demo at all; it's a performance test.

Download your copy from here (1,671K).

Unzip it all into the same directory, then run the battleperf.exe program. Let it do its thing, then copy and paste the results window that will pop up after the test is complete as a reply to this thread.

(Also, post your CPU type/speed, your OS, and how much memory you have. I forgot to add that stuff into the report the performance test gives.)

no, he's trying to get a good idea of the power of our systems and how it runs uninterupted on different types.

you don't HAVE to keep everything completely still, but if the you don't, it's not an accurate portrayal of your computer's number crunching power, and so not only does it not help him, it may actually slow him down.

It *WAS* a voodoo3. As soon as anything better in the GeForce line comes out, assuming I have a job at that point, I'm buying it.
