Seiken Densetsu sequal for the GBA in 2003 with a Seiken Densetsu NGC Exclusive TBA which will link up with the GBA Version.
Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles an all new FF RPG exclusive to the NGC, with a GBA version allowing 4 players to linkup and play co-op on the NGC version.
Final Fantasy Tactics 2 to be released first for the NGC, and later in the year for PS2. Excluding the X-Box.
Chocobo Sequel for the NGC/PS2
Remakes of FF4,5,6 for the NGC
Ports of FF1,2,3 for the GBA
Kingdom Hearts PS2/X-Box with a GBA version to arrive later in the year. There doesn't appear to be a NGC version in the works.
I can't wait to play FF1 again.

This is all very, very good news. I am very glad to own a Gamecube right now. HOWEVER, why can't Square actually do a remake of the Final Fantasies, rather than just straight ports? 4, 5, and 6 were all marvelous games! The plots were already scripted out perfectly. It would be nigh impossible to screw them up! Retouch the graphics, the spell effects... You've got a recipe for a fantastic game here! Even if it's not a major retouch, just look at the Lunar games!
I've got FF6, hell, I've got several different copies of it, but they're all the same! I want to see an evolved FF6!!
