Our school was having 5 minutes of silence. Our teacher had muted the TV which had Fox News on it. There was a kid in the back, who was talking during the silence and, about 3 minutes in, stood up and yelled (yes, yelled)
"This is fucking stupid! Change the channel to MTV or something. Why the hell should I care about some stupid building that fell?"
Then I said, "Because MANY MANY people were killed, can't you just be civil for 5 minutes?"
He tried punching me (yes, all of this in class), I blocked, broke his nose and knocked the wind out of him with a kick.
Do you think I was justified?
You go, girl!

Yes, and a block would've been just fine for that. Then immediately notify someone. He would've easily been expelled for his actions.

No. Not all schools are good, y'know. He'd have gotten away with a smile and a "I won't do it again", where I went. Gotta make your own discipline. [ 09-14-2001: Message edited by: Tier ]
I wouldn't have stopped at the kick, either. Cocky little fuck.
The right thing would have been to pound the little shit into the ground untill they pulled you off of him.
If you are ever in Southern Indiana or Louisville Kentucky please look me up. I think I will buy you dinner to congratulate you.
Good job.
I personally would have given him a swift kick to the groin!!!!!!
What the HELL is with that guy!?!?
If you get in any trouble... then there is really something VERY WRONG with your school.
And Im sure if your parents knew WHY you did what they did, they would take you out, buy you dinner, and be extremely happy for ya.
And I woulda done the same damn thing to that unpatriotic, insensitive bastard.
I'm just saying you shouldn't have to take consequences for such a low-life shade of mold.
You did the right thing
Summed up though, you didn't do the right thing. You stopped too early
Personally, I think the little twerp needs a good spanking... or a calm bitch slap a smile and a 'Pull it together. You're embarassing yourself.'
Boys are taught to take punches... makes 'em manly or something... an openhanded slap, though... stops 'em most every time.
... Although I guess I had a little reputation for permanent damage if you got through my terribly thorough 'Don't hit people' training. (And a wicked left-cross, right-cross, left uppercut combo.)

I wouldn't have either, and if something like this happened to another student in my class, I would gladly help that person break more than his nose...
My class laughed today when they sang the nation anthem over the intercom (some student sang it and did a good job, but they laughed anyways...)
it was totally justified
You proved that crap won't just not be tolerated by foreign terrorists, but by our own people.
*salutes*

I would have told him off personally, but if the dipstick tried attacking me, I woulda fought back until either he was pleading for mercy, I had broken every bone in his body, or the teachers/cops would've had to pull me off him. I sorta doubt anyone'd have stopped you if you'd continued, in fact, they would have likely placed bets...
Ummm, this was supposed to be an edit, not a reply, ignore my first post then.

but that's just me...
(would've written an "F" in very black marker on his forehead beforehand)

I would have written something much longer and more descriptive... but it wouldn't fit on his face.

It's sad that some kids have no manners these days. Gotta stuff them and box their ears til they learn. You tell him!
Sometimes when I see those 10-13 year old kids whining and whinings in the stores while their parents are sitting there going, 'No! Please stop! Stop!' I want to jump out and shout, 'HIT HIM! KNOCK HIM TO THE GROUND AND KICK HIM A FEW TIMES!'
It's how -I- learned to respect people and behave!(Well, okay, the knocking to the ground and kicking him was a little over board.) [ 09-14-2001: Message edited by: Snoota ]
