A human with extremely animal characteristics, or an animal with extremely human characteristics. IE : Animals/birds/dragons that walk upright, talk, wear clothing, and behave in a human manner.

A few good examples : Disney's Robin Hood is blatantly furry.
Redwall was extremely furry.
Bugs bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig could be considered 'furries'.

Really, the more appropriate name for us is 'Anthropomorphic', or rather, animals that behave in human ways.

Hmmm, I'm torn between being neutral and siding with the furries. On one hand, I try to maintain neutrality in all board wars, from communist vs. capitalist, Texas vs. Canada, etc., so that I can help all who need healing. On the other hand, this seems an obvious case of oppression. After all, where can those poor furries roam if not here? Shouldn't they receive equal rights as human bei... I mean, as peop... I mean, as sentient creatures?

Of course, on the first side again, one of those fighting the furries, Drysart, is the most powerful being here, and could destroy me with a thought.
