On a side note: The solo to Symphony of Destruction is EPIC with GH2's HO/POs. Fucking epic.
I have a really hard time with GH1's HO/PO system. I'm eagerly awaiting the release of a few choice GH1 songs on Xbox Live so I can play them with GH2's system
quote:A lot of the songs are just ridiculous with GH2's system. Take a close look at Cochise's HO/POs. I end up strumming once every eight seconds for most of the song.
Kegwen.

Bark at the Moon is a bit more fun. A lot of problem parts become much easier, but the solo is still a bit ridiculous. I haven't practiced it (or even played it more than three times), but I'm sure it's doable now. The ending solo of the song is fucking ace though.
Surprisingly, CfH is still a bit stupid. Thenagain, it was never a fun song to play to begin with. Godzilla becomes a lot easier, and much more fun. Texas Flood as well.
Tripolette is jawsome with the hyper-speed code and new HO/POs. I hope they released it for 360 users.
Also, no strikethrough here? Or the command is changed?

I was going to say... "I can't do HO/PO's at full speed. This is why Boss fucked around with this message on 04-05-2007 at 11:00 AM.I'm hot I suck."
Are they unlockable or what?
Also, yes GH1 songs in GH2's engine are absolutely retarded. 98% on Crossroads first try. (From a hacked version of PS2 GH2, not 360. Don't have that yet.) Mr. Gainsborough fucked around with this message on 04-05-2007 at 06:14 PM.

If by absolutely retarded you mean practically orgasmic.
There are so very few things more fun in videogaming than Ziggy Stardust, Crossroads or Texas Flood with GH2 HO/POs.

Indubitably. A lot of those songs in GH1 were awesome to listen to but horrid to play because of the system they were in.

They are fun, but it's a whole hell of a lot easier.

Boss had this to say about the Spice Girls:
Wireless only, afaik. I had to shell out 60 bucks for one <_<
What you talking about, Willis. There shouldn't be a wireless controller. $60 is in fact true for a wired though.
how are they unlocked i gotta know for when EB gets a copy and I have to beat everything again

Bloodsage postedSo exactly how long is the cord?
Roughly 8 feet.
You could always get a USB extension cable, though.

someone answer me when can i play the new songs arghhow are they unlocked i gotta know for when EB gets a copy and I have to beat everything again
They're sprinkled all over the place. Wikipedia has the full comparison.
Tips?

Falaanla Marr had this to say about Jimmy Carter:
My biggest issue so far involves most anything where I have to hit red and blue or green and yellow at the same time. Take Woman (on medium) for example -- it goes GY into RB and i mess that up every time.Tips?
Practice. It does get easier, though it's frustrating earlier on.
Mr. Fix it on expert has a lot of GY/YO transition chords. And Monkey Wrench on expert goes from two sets of just orange to orange/blue and down the scale to orange/green and back up again. Heh.
Every time I use it, I miss a whole series of notes, fucking my multiplier and effectively making star power totally useless.
Those people do not deserve to rock.
I started using the neck strap and it seems to help.
I've finished all the songs under "opening licks" on medium with 4 stars each now. Maradon! fucked around with this message on 04-06-2007 at 09:12 PM.

Greenlit stopped beating up furries long enough to write:
Some people find it easier to hit Select with their pinky than to invert the guitar to activate starpower. Those people do not deserve to rock.
This is a whole lot harder to do with the 360 controller than it was with the PS2 controller. I find it hard to hit pause even if I stop trying to hit the notes. The button is tiny and hard to find. It does, however, alleviate any possibility of accidently pausing.
