I can't sympathize - my guild makes ideal use of shadow priests abilities, putting them in the ranged/mana DPS group to tremendous benefit.

I love the shit out of my shadow priest.

Elvish Crack Piper probably says this to all the girls:
And the offensive power of a priest with a big staff, I use to orgasm when I could throw an engineering bomb and holy shock for 800 damage at once :-/ Then got to chase around the little people with actual cool powers until my stun cooled down, or waiting till they ran out of mana trying to outdamage holy light with the occasional illuminate. (which was pretty funny)

Paladins have (at least) 3 lives, and it takes that many to kill anyone decent. People complain about shamens because... I dunno, they can't stop someone walking backwards and frost shocking them alot? People complain when windfury manages to proc 2-3 times in a row with some really slow 2 hander? Oh noes.

You are playing your class wrong. If you swing your weapon for any reason than to knock someone off of a flag you are doing it wrong. You can make it impossible for the other team to kill anyone between clense, you random auras, and your stupid fast heals. Keep your teammates and yourself alive and relish the fact that your horde opponents are looking for something sharp to stick in their eye.

So how is mangle? Worth getting, or is OOC still better?

Get the soap! Asha'man just said:
They are. You can't seriously expect to be given a DPS slot in any decent raid, so you end up healing... But healing real bad compared to what someone can do with holy/disc specs. And if you do end up dedicated to DPS, well, expect to be outdamaged by any real DPS class.

The strength of shadow priests is the versatility of their spells, which is great in PvP, but useless in PvE.

Maybe before I got my 2nd 250-300 damage per tick dot, but now that i'm doing 400+ dps as a matter of course, I'm in the tip 5 on the damage meter whenever I'm doing pure dps.

And I've only got +171 damage.

Mangle is goddamn amazing. Wait until level 61 to pick up OOC. Trust me.

I went back to tree spec, but that's because every other druid in the guild is mangle and I felt like being useful.

Now, instead of doing decent damage in battlegrounds, I do lots and lots of healing! I'm much more useful.

If you want to concentrate on feral, though, mangle is a must.

Tree spec is the new innervate.

You realize that multiple tree of life buffs stack, right?

Fun fact: there's a bug that allows the treants summoned by Force of Nature to not garner guard aggro.

I don't usually go on offense in BG's, unless my team is being stupid.

I took Parcelans comment to mean a 1v1 situation, in group the only offense action I take is to holy shock someone as they run away if HoJ isn't cooled down. The engineer stuff is so I can have that wonderful netgun and the invisibility pack for emergency.

A good paladin can make your offense amazing. BoF on flag runner? A healer that can't be ganked by pursuers as quickly as a priest? Someone who can hold a neutral flag until it caps without dying?
