YOU HAVEN'T POSTED SINCE JULY!
Make a thread discussing bean paste. This is my decree.

Karnaj is an awesome guy. I'm no debater and not fond of conflict, but oftentimes, when something bothers me, and I WANT to say something about it...he ends up popping up and taking the words right out of my mouth.
Bajah is one of the nicest guys I've ever known. He's done alot of damn fine things for me in the past. Sorry that Clerics comic you proposed never ended up happening, it was a funny idea!
Never really see Synny and KaL anymore, but they've also done alot for me in the past, and I still owe them for it.
Mortay, I loved you once, and you're still a good friend and a hottie.
Not to mention the guy who friggin' brought me here in the first place.
Fal is another damn cool guy, who once offered me a place to stay when it looked like I was going to end up on the streets. Fortunately it never came to that, but the offer alone means alot to me.
Hell, I could go on and on...There have been so many wonderful people here, past and present...

I wish I could find miso paste around here.

I don't know where to find one around here.
I'm in redneck, bible-belt central. It's hard as hell to find anything organic or ethnic...

YOU'RE EVERYTHING I WISH I COULD BE
FACT! Timpofee was my favorite person from the wedding. You guys give him a lot of crap around here, but he's really cool.
And Stiddy, since he's been posting here of late as I see.

If ever you find yourself in OKC, around the area of NW 23rd and Classen you will find something called the Asian District. If you find Pho Hua while you are there, you are required to eat a meal there in my honor.
On NW 25th and Military there is a place called Super Cao Nguyen. They are awesome.
There's also a Hong Kong Market on the southside, which would be a bit closer to you. I think it's on... SW 89th and Pennsylvania? I think they took over an old Homeland. I've only been there once, and while not nearly as awesome as Super Cao Nguyen, they're a lot farther south and they can probably help you.

THANK YOU!
Now I gotta twist my sweetie's arms until I can get him to go up to the city. He hates driving in the city.

If you decide to head to north side, you might want to get better specifics on the location of the Asian District. I'm pretty sure NW 23rd and Classen-ish is correct, though. I haven't been out there in awhile.
Hong Kong Market isn't super hard to find, though. Like I said, I think they took over an old Homeland or something, so it's in a big huge parking lot/shopping complex like a grocery store would have.
OH and be warned, most of the restaurants in the Asian District don't take any kind of charge or debit card, so bring cash. Monica fucked around with this message on 09-28-2006 at 11:39 AM.
Who do I like? Dunno. Everyone has their moments, even people I traditionally dislike. I see EC as being sort of like a frat you never really get to leave behind...sometimes if you're sleeping in the group room they come up and teabag you, sometimes you shit in their sock drawer. They may not like the gal you're with, but you get to laugh when they contract some embarrassing venereal disease from a bad burrito. I may not want to hang out with all of you, but I'd be willing to toss back a few drinks with most of you.

Some of you I'd like to love a little more than others.
I'll let you all guess if you're first group or second group.
