Just as many songs as I wanna play for 6 minutes in Guitar Hero.

I hate that they use full length songs for a rhythm game. Playing Freebird is going to be fucking retarded. Smoke on the Water was bad enough.
I like Bemani games. Specifically Guitar Freaks in this instance. They play the chorus and a solo and finish it. If you can pass it, go you. No getting the chance to build your meter back up with an easy chorus over and over. No bullshitting star power through the solo. Pure skill required!
Not that GH2 isn't going to be FUCKING HARD. But it's still a different type of hard. Endurance over Skill, imo.

Greenlit had this to say about the Spice Girls:
I just sorta went "Ugh" and started wondering what sort of shit we'll see with MTV's influence, if RedOctane is already beginning to cater to this sort of crowd on their own.
Is one or two joke songs really that bad when most, or a good portion at least, of the songs kick ass?
It's not like they're gonna completely kill off the awesome music to make room for Aqua Teen Hunger Force's Greatest Hits.
Also there are quite a few more stinkers in the normal songs, but I am still optimistic.

Mr. Gainsborough had this to say about Cuba:
So with the 10-song demo hacks that have come out, I have been able to play like 19 more songs.Bang Your Head - haha i get songs that aren't even gonna be on GH2's final release.
You mean Quiet Riot - Mental Health? Or is this a different song.
That one could actually be pretty fun. Retarded, but fun. Come on Feel the Noise would be cool too. I used to love those guys. They are so cheese.
And it's awesome.
quote:
Mr. Gainsborough had this to say about Reading Rainbow:
It was listed as Bang Your Head, but yeah it's definitely by Quiet Riot. And it's awesome.
Bang your heads is definitely more recognizable... Hell, I listened to them on a religious level for years back in the 80's and it wasn't until years years later while trying to find the song I wondered why there was no fucking "Bang Your Head!" by quiet riot in the stores anywhere. Turns out it's Quiet Riot - Mental Health (Bang Your Head). I dunno why they didn't just call it bang your head in the first place, it's all anyone ever remmebers about it.
Okay.. I wander off with my nostalgia now. Sucks its not a release song though. Maybe on 3. It is definitely Guitar Rock.
Edit: Fucking song is stuck in my head now and I need to get to sleep. Faelynn LeAndris fucked around with this message on 10-30-2006 at 09:40 AM.
