You can. Use /bg.
There are a ton of teams running around right now showing off their shit, so pugging in any BG right now probably isn't the best idea unless it's AV.
Anyway, the advice to just heal the geared people is golden. If you find a warrior and just keep him freedomed, cleansed, and healed for one battleground, he will love you forever.

No greater way to ensure I never even click a heal button for the rest of a BG is to run ahead to fight someone and then stand there waiting for a heal while some rogue jumps up my ass

Gilneas was chain crashing it's BG Group all night long. I think the longest it stayed up after prime time hit was about 35 minutes.
On the flip side I've never seen 120+ WSG *AND* 120+ AB BG's up at a single time.

A good run, though.. we did Kurin, Rajaxx, Moam, and Buru (on the second try), Got two paladin codexes, too, so it was worth it.

Oddly since I hit 5/8 Bloodfang I find that I don't give as much of a shit about Warriors and Overpower. I guess the additional 1k+ HP makes a major difference over the 'average' SC Set.
And seeing a Warrior Execute me and still lose is rather odd. If I'm low enough for him to execute I should be dead.

I'd have figured an execute coming from one of the BWL Axes would have hurt more. Or is Arcanite Reaper still the weapon of choice for that?

Execute isn't based on weapon damage at all.
And I find unless my execute crits, or they are below 10% when i can get it off, If i don't have a full rage bar it surprising won't kill someone a lot of the time.
