Well, at one point, Roxas has a mental connection with Kairi. It isn't completely stated that Namine is Kairi's Nobody, but it's EXTREMELY freakin' obvious. It's also stated that Namine IS a nobody. If you don't get it at the very beginning of the game, then it should be extremely obvious what Namine is when it is explained how a nobody is formed.

Actually it explains who Naminé is in one of Ansem's report. The whole short story: Naminé is Sora's and Kairi's Nobody. (hence the blond hair)

The trick to large bodies is to hit them with either blizzard or lightning. Trying to get around them is just too much effort when you can kill them in 3 or 4 shots with magic.
I got rather good in the first at jumping and smacking them upside the head, but that doesn't seem to work as well in this one.
