You could go as Solid Snake like I saw a person at A-Kon doing. He was running around carrying a box over him.

The best costume I saw, though, was a guy in full ninja garb, except that he had a white t-shirt over the rest of the outfit, that said in big, black letters, "What Ninja?"

There was also the guy dressed in a totally white ninja outfit that had, "Reverse Ninja" on his chest.

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

Man I'd love to do that, but getting a good looking hazard suit would be all but impossible.

I dunno, compared to stormtrooper armor or Halo armor the hazmat suit doesn't look all that difficult or expensive.

One thing, do the codpiece. Chicks dig codpieces.

Would it have been THAT HARD to get a real crowbar?

I mean really.

1. Real crowbars tend towards being a non-Halflife shape and colour
2. It's illegal to beat people with a real crowbar.

Same with fake ones.

On both counts.

There were multiple Snakes. Different revisions from the different games. One of them was 8bit.

Seeing a pair of them walk down the hall past a Stormtrooper and someone else, instantly crouch down, draw knives and then proceed to 'assassinate' the 2 guys they passed was kinda odd. I went back to the game of SPANC I was playing and pretended that I didn't see anything.

What the heck is up with all those pixels? Aren't we allowed to learn that he has a Neverwinter Nights poster, or that he owns the Sims 2?

How weird.

I'm probably going to do either Seifer or Squall.

I'd prefer Seifer because that wouldn't be clichèd as all shit like Squall would, plus I'll get to beat the crap out of the ultra-femme Squall cosplayers.

However, I cannot find seifer's gunblade! Ebay has several high quality Squall gunblades, however I can't very well go as Seifer with Squall's gunblade!!

Seifer was a panzy asshole and Squall was a douchebag with a stick up his ass.

Good choices.

Guide to making Prop Swords (or Gunblades)

This cosplayer also creates costume pieces and does commissions. Look near the bottom for pictures of a commissioned Seifer's Gunblade she made in the past.

Another cosplayer group that does commission pieces and has Seifer's Gunblade active for commission.

This reminds I'm going to have to start fiddling with the construction of Ichigo's Soul Slayer. Though I'm unsure how heavy a 4' long and 6"+ wide monstrosity of pine would weigh.

Make it out of foam, with a PVC core. then add a couple layers of latex. The foam you want is sold as "Laminated Plank foam" at big hardware places like Lowes. And the PVC can be bent with heat into whatever shape you need.

Awesome. I was thinking foam, but it didn't have the right surface. Ser gut!

It still wont have the right surface, but thats what the latex coat is for.. you can put any texture to it that you wish. And then, you can paint or airbrush it, and make it almost real lookin.
