I've only had Blizzard-side connection issues shortly after release, I'd get stuck in corpses and lag out on two evenings, no queues or anything since then.
Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.

The only real problems I've ever had can be attributed to.. dialup

But some of this server-side lag, even on servers with smaller populations, is fucking ridiculous,

It all depends on what server you picked. Some servers had queue's of over 1000 people in line last night, and others had no waiting at all. Thankfully my server was the latter.

Yeah, tried to log on Doomhammer for a bit last night and there were over 350 people in line with a 30 minute wait time.

Thankfully, my guild picked Elune and we don't have wait times on that one.

I play on Illidan, the server has a queue time from time but never anything huge, only 500 people, about a 10 minute wait, then I log in, if I log into Orgimmar I expect a bit of lag. Yeh I want something done and I hope something will be done!

Incidentally;

600,000 units sold as of Jan 10th

So even if Lineage 2 got 1.5 million players in six months, that's still only 250,000 a month, which is still slower than WoW has grown so far.

On Dragonblight (PvE) I don't have all that much lag or any issues with disconnect at all. On Feathermoon (RP) however, we get tons of loot lag issues and bugged mines or flowers.

No connectivity issues on Feathermoon, but I think that their population grows everytime the PvP servers are down. Usually it's a ton of jackasses too.

If you don't want to RP, don't come to a RP server. How easy is that?

Its very server specific. Burning Blade is working basically fine. It has lag from time to time thats annoying, I'd say once every week or so. I also didn't know until I read this thread that WoW still had lines.

I wonder what the percentage of all the servers the problem ones are.

Kilrogg tends to go down fairly often. It's killed me a few times and lag can get pretty horrendous no matter where you are. It's kind of become a joke in my guild betting on someone getting a quest reward duped from the rollback.

My overall dissatisfaction stems less from server issues and more from the fact that there is almost no incentive to group except for a few quests and the instanced zones. Solo'ing all the time on my priest because i can't get a group is getting very very old.

Playing on Doomhammer (One of the 'HIGH' population mountain time servers), I have had no problems with Queues, though the lag has been a bit annoying. Nothing major though, since release. However, I haven't logged in in like a week's time, since I have been playing my Elune characters more.

And on Elune, I haven't had problems beyond the AH/IF lag. Since I try to keep my AH'ing down to once a night, it doesn't even affect me all that much. Still no problems with queues. Maybe it's just the times that I'm logging in or something. I dunno.

I hope they get it sorted out, though.

Unfortunantly, you just can't guess that. For all you know, it could've been 500k accounts the first month(And knowing Korea, I wouldn't put it past them,) and slowly rose to 1.5M over the course of the next 5.

Durotan runs as smooth as a baby's ass. Never once had to wait in a queue, only ever had severe lag for a week or so after release.. Other than that I've only had a server-side lag spike perhaps once a week, MAYBE.

I will now enter a room where the atmosphere is composed of 100% chlorine gas for using the "baby's ass" analogy.

I doubt it. I'm finding this all funny that Mara is always rolling his eyes or trying to insult SOE (EQ or EQ2) fanbois for being fanbois, but is a bigger WoW fanboy than most of them.

Just tired of the fanboys. WoW has proven itself to be a great game, but it's not perfect. Yet it goes something like:

"THOSE TREES SOLD 600K UNITS."
"Well go play in the EQ2 trees with all the NPCs because it has no players zing"
"EQ1 didn't even have trees! SoE doesn't even know what a tree is!"

On Earthen Ring, the largest queue I've ever had was 20 people, and that only usually on days when another set of servers went down, and people hopped over to ours.

I usually get about 1 buggy mine spot a day. That is very annoying, as I find I can't mine again until I logout and in again.

There is no such thing as Bronze veins...Bronze is a compound metal. You have to mine Tin veins and combine one tin bar with one copper bar to make 2 bronze bars.
