Most instance runs I do, everyone is there for a particular item. We call it, we're good.
You roll only if it upgrades. If all pass, then everyone /random 100s for Greed Loot. You'd be surprised how fast the process goes after a bit in SM.
And on guilds: What black said. HE and I are part of a guild that is tied for best guild on Elune. Well, not on official average levels, but just because we're THAT DAMN COOL. Addy, Rosa, and Cobbi's guild is as cool as us, but noone else is.

Well, any one of the 5 of us could've used that axe. In a party of shamans and warriors, there is little that can't be used by all of us. It wasn't called, hell, we didn't even know the guy dropped it. Now that we do, however, we're going back for more. It's good that we have keys to the back door so we don't have to do the whole damned instance over again.

I've been through that damn Scarlet Monastery at least four times completley, and two or three times the party collapsed midway through.
The fireworks room is the best part.
