Maradon, apparently testers who got invited today recieved two accounts instead of one, meaning that possibly, of the testers that would have gotten invites, only half were actually invited.

There may still be hope!

I don't understand what this means... they only sent out half of the beta invitations?

From whats on the closed beta forums, quite a few testers got second account keys. Does this mean that all of the account keys were given to who they were supposed to be sent to? No clue. This could just be that some extra keys were sent out when they weren't supposed to be.

All I can do though is hope that the latter scenario isn't what happened. :/

Hey you guys already in beta. If you got an extra account today, could you pass it on to someone here that ain't in beta? There are quite a few of us that would like to try the beta out and stuff, especially after playing the evil teaser that was the Stress Test.

I'm fairly certain if Blizz tracks it down, they'll retract them and try again. And if they're given out to people they weren't sent to, the original person could likely get a swift kick in the gnads.

Am I a bad person because all this WoW stuff means nothing to me? Don't get me wrong, the screenies look really nice and all, it's just I've never played any of the other Warcraft games. Am I lacking some sort of essential gamer gene in my genetic makeup?

Nah.

I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

Warcraft 2 was fun.

I've never played WC3 or the original.

Some guy got an email about it.

The only reason I'm posting here, is because it looks like when Blizz resent out the latest batch, they didn't send out too many e-mails (by looking at the forums I mean, usually quite a few people from the battle.net forums are picked, this time, not many were).

Sucks that only people from the last beta round were sent dupes to give to friends. What about people who've been testing for a long time? Why can't they invite friends? lol
