It's a big (XBOX HUEG!) fucking boat, but I'll log on now and try to get a good one.
edit: The zone is really foggy, dark during the daytime and the boat is really, really big. Here's the best I could get. I couldn't get far enough away to get a good view of the sides without it being obscured with fog... so I got a bit of the front =\

There is a graveyard that your body will "rot" to now called Shadowrest. You can access it by speaking to an NPC in PoK. It was recently put in with one of the last patches.

Dunno if anyone uses the boats, atm. There were lots of issues and I believe they've allowed the magus to port you there now.

Well, 'died into obscurity' was the wrong phrase. I just meant they haven't been as big... at least in my opinion. I would always end up going back to EQ over any other MMOG.

While WoW and EQ2 may look good, there are still reasons to play EQ over those games.
1. Most people are going to have put a lot of time and money into EQ and will not fork out more money for a new MMORPG where they have to start over from level 1.
2. (EQ2) People don't want to have to upgrade thier computers to play a game that will still lag to hell even with good specs.
3. Some people just don't like Warcraft, and won't play WoW.
And CoH lacks the ability to keep players for a long time. I believe it won't last too much longer, and will definately fade out once WoW hits store shelves and becomes the next fad for the majority of people to go after.
EQ most definately has staying power, for several more years I'd think. It's been around for a long time so it has many class options for several play styles, most computers can run it now, and it quite possibly has the most content (even if 15% of it is probably bugged) out of all the MMORPGS. New people are STILL joining EQ. Anyone who thinks EQ won't be around for a few more years is full of crap.
(DAoC will be sticking around for a long time as well, since it quite possibly has the best PvP in any MMORPG. And its going to get a lot better with Frontiers.)
