The best one is when you first meet Ayla. Crono's there, about to be killed when suddenly she comes charging in. She kicks all kinds of ass all over the place, save Crono without missing beat, and then runs off with what's left of the bad guys chasing after her.
And Crono just stands there with that look on his face that says "My manhood just shriveled up and died of shame."

And the FMVs were moving, too.

Only thing I can't stand about the PS one is the load times. But the anime scenes are awsome.
I dunno what kind of crap Playstations you all have where you complain about load times. Mine loads just fine on my PSOne

Had to correct that. The sequel simply had the better story.
You, sir, are a liar and a cheat. The Cataclysm story was hack and of lmost B-Movie qulity. It sucked. Niklas fucked around with this message on 06-01-2004 at 11:34 AM.

I loved that game so much. Hell, I can't think of any other game where you can simply talk your way out of the final battle.

You have insulted my honor, knave.
I challenge you to a duel at dawn. The weapons will be of my choice and I choose fish&chips. I'll await you tomorrow at my local dueling ground.

Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark
I'll probably start with Baldurs Gate 2 since I have it but have never played it. I'll have to look for a bunch of those others too.
(especially KOTOR since most people mentioned it)

Rodent King said this about your mom:
Try the Lunar Series, FFX is great too. Don't forget some of the Tomb Raider plots, Final Fantasy Tactics and FFT:A are amazing plot wise.
Wow! Thanks for the great advice!
Some games mentoned that I've already tried are...
-Morrowind
-FFVII
-All the games quoted above
They all had great plots though (except Tomb Raider...)
Morrowind was especially interesting because it had a greatly fleshed out and backrounded world that you could learn about through the books scattered arund. Some of the books were even just short stories,,, Zair fucked around with this message on 06-01-2004 at 05:09 PM.

Starcraft (And brood war) had such excellent plots. The final badassitude of the final Zerg mission in Brood war just made you sadistically smile. Even if you did beat it with cheats on.And the FMVs were moving, too.
Yes! Starcraft was great. I did manage to beat it and the expansion without cheats on, and the final mission is indeed awesome. What you find out in the secret mission is also very interesting and makes me anxious for a sequel....
Though Ghost will have to do for now... Zair fucked around with this message on 06-01-2004 at 05:16 PM.
Dues Ex however can be played 15 times and still be fun.
The plot is amazingness

It's not English.

Everyone I have talked to that played the PlayStation version has complained about load times. They are bad, especially if you have played the cartridge or emulated version.

I played CT emulated when I first played it. I really don't notice a difference.

You must have SuperStation 9000 or something. There was a couple second wait at the beginning of each battle with no sound or animation on a few systems I've seen. Unlike the instant start from emulated/cartridge.
