Would THIS qualify as well? I'm surprised no one jumped all over this one. It was all over the news yesterday. I mean, I can understand the anti-war crowd ignoring it, since, ya know, it shows the existance of at least some chemical weapons. But I thought for sure someone would have mentioned it before now.
Watching it with interest. Syria's been letting Al Queda filter into Iraq for months now, there's just as good of a chance that they brought it with them. I'm still of the opinion that if Iraq had functioning WMD, they would have used them in defense of their country.
If this one shell is the only "WMD" we ever find in Iraq, I'm still going to be extremely upset with the government.

I doubt Syria would be giving terrorists sarin or even letting them smuggle it through their country into Iraq. If you'll check the news, STATE has been leaning on them pretty hard on the status of their own WMD, and Congress has even gotten involved in threatening all sorts of sanctions.
They know they're walking a fine line. . .and that there's a real possibility they could be next. As a matter of fact, if such allegations proved true, we'd almost have to bomb the shit out of them.
Nice thought, very low probability.

First off i'll start with the killing of civilians. I highly doubt this to be true at all, if any of you knew about the hours of of fucking investigation that happens if you shot someone after they declared the "war" over you'd be amazed. MPI and CID's whole job here is to investigate any Iraqi deaths to see if they comply with the current ROE, and trust me if his whole company was there, which by the way makes no sense since all the Marines here work in platon size movements, then every one of them would have to back up his story. As for shoting cars that run the checkpoint, well i have nothing to say to that other then that they got what they deserved for being idiots. These checkpoints are hard to miss with signs posted everywhere and usually at least two high class armored vehicles.
Second an ICBM as he called it is an IED, improvised explosive device. Anyone in Iraq military or not is familiar with this term and would never refer to it as a fucking ICBM thats just plan retarded.
Third, for DU. Been around it, fired it , handled it. Never had a problem and neither has anyone else. DU is safe until it is fired and HITS something, so unless a goddamn tank (one the few vehicles that use DU) fired a damn slug at him i don't see this being possable at all.

U.S. attack said to kill scores at Iraq wedding
On the Iraqi/Syrian border, evidently they were firing at coilition vehicles and ...I have no idea if it eas an accident, or what, but a helicopter took out a wedding party.
The gov. is not confirming it, but it's been picked up by AP and Iraqi newswires, and there's video of them taking the bodies away in trucks.
May they rest in peace.
