Yes, wind waker rules...RULES THE SANDBOX!It's about fucking time Nintendo grew a pair and backed off with the "family fun" bullshit. They must have chained up shigiru miyamoto in the basement or sold the liscense to a third party developer like they did with Metroid Prime.
And, hay, I got access to a gamecube just in time to enjoy it too!
The Legend of Zelda series has ALWAYS been family friendly. It is not an adult game. It is an adventure game. It has ALWAYS been a series that children can play.
What you should NOT do, however, is go so anti-family that you turn Zelda into some sort of gory, dark adventure like Devil May Cry.

I liked the OoT style myself. It wasn't goofy-looking, like Wind Waker (though Wind Waker did have a very cool story and characters), but it wasn't so dark and such that they couldn't have a silly boss like Bongo Bongo.
And it looks good.

Before this comes out, a top-down multiplayer adventure (Sequel to Four Swords) will come out for the GCN.And it looks good.
Fixed that for you. Densetsu fucked around with this message on 05-12-2004 at 09:17 PM.

Oh WOW. Neato. I was just flipping through the article on it, didn't notice anything about it being a sequel.

Where is this article, ugly people?
I read it in an issue of Nintendo Power.

My point was that Maradon is taking things to extreme. To insinuate that Zelda was in some way kiddified is ludicrous; the only thing remotely less mature than Ocarina was the animation style and that was just an animation style. It was hardly any more or any less violent or mature than any of the other incarnations or installments. Demanding it be MORE mature would almost necessitate it filling up with obnoxious angst and/or gore that you see in games like DMC and the like. Good games, of course, but not what Zelda is like.
