been a very long time, most the stores here somehow ended up as hadji-marts
even the stores in good locations all seem to be owned by people from the middle east who cheat americans and dont pay taxes. This one store I sat and watched the woman short change a few customers. when I paid I asked her to count it back to me and woulndt touch it until she fixed it.
basicly she would give you a bunch of ones and count one or two twice.

surely not all but some and thats enough for me. Apparently they get a tax break to help them establish themselves here in america and then they change ownership everytime the taxbreak ends in order to keep it going.
as to the rest simple selling things off the books and having two sets of books same thing shady bussness people have done for centuries.
