Pfffft, all these goody-two-shoes quests... how about one where a paladin from the local temple is cleansing all the nearby crypts/lairs and its up to you to stop him and defile the offending temple.
But playing evil and doing evil quests is no fun.
Playing evil, doing good quests to look like the good guys, and secretly plotting to kill your party members and take their stuff so you can become more powerful... When they're all doing the same...
Now THAT is fun.
It also helps if your character is an alcoholic Dwarf who kills people for beer money.
