I currently have ~10gb free on it.
72 gigs of the space on the drive is being used by anime (Which is really the only thing most people use the FTP for... well, the anime, and the emulators/roms).
What I'm wondering, is which would you guys want! I let YOU decide!
1) Buy a new hard drive. Since next semester's tuition will be coming up shortly, me buying a new one isn't an option. I'd need people to donate.
2) Removing the games/music/misc stuff that ain't anime!
3) Add your own option.
I'm bored and at work so I'm asking you, the people who actually use the FTP, what do YOU want?
The ROMs are worth their weight in gold.
It's not something people hear about.
Or you could set something up where anything that's been up beyond X period of time (two weeks, maybe) is taken down from the FTP. If your FTP is anything like my hard drives, I have a bunch of stuff I mean to read through/watch/listen to, but between the new stuff I get and the old stuff I've decided I definitely want to save, there's this huge shadowy area of stuff that I may or may not like, but have and haven't had time to peruse thoroughly yet. So I end up wasting huge chunks of my hard drive on the obscure chance that I'll go back and try to make sense of it, when the fact is that most of the "shadow area" would probably end up deleted anyway.
No flow-through, essentially. Free up the flow-through, and you may well get a good portion of your FTP space back. Just a thought.

Love Hina has been downloaded more often than Cowboy Bebop and Trigun combined

That might be a bad idea, since a lot of stuff is on there that people download and delete.
I mean, like, I'd re-upload the rejected video, but that's about it.

A lot of that stuff is stuff that I myself have collected. IE : Every Episode of Rurouni Kenshin from 1 to 80. Someone uploaded like 3 episodes but I did the rest.
My CURRENT plan is to back up the MP3's and assorted other junk on CD's so I don't lose anything, then wipe everything but the anime and roms. I'm just really reluctant to delete anime from the FTP, since a lot of what's on there can be tough to find (I should know, I had to find half of it!) and it's easy for people to get on and download from me

But by downloading in deleting it, you obviously don't think it's important enough to keep. Ergo, it fits in the "crap" category and won't be missed.

I downloaded the .hack//sign series, watched it and deleted it.
Does that make it crap? Nope.

If the internet has taught me nothing else, it's that someone, somewhere, will want to download literally anything.

The only good thing about Kenshin was the OVA, Samurai X. Four episodes of goodness.

Honestly, if I did start getting rid of stuff, Kenshin would probably be high on the list, since right now that one series takes up more space than any other 3 series. Even more space than all of the Reboot episodes I have!
I need this Khyron.

You deserve death for uttering that name.
And the OVA is indeed badass. Although I enjoyed it for different reasons than the TV series.
You know if something's up? Or has the bandwidth load just gone up?

Khy, I'm getting asstastic speeds on your FTP. I usually get about 50kb/s but now I've been getting 12kb/s constantly. You know if something's up? Or has the bandwidth load just gone up?
Two problems -
#1 - Bandwidth has temporarily been cut in half. Since Naruto episodes 23-39 were not uploaded to the FTP I had to use DC++ to get them. Since now I'm sharing the bandwidth between the FTP and DC++, the speed is pretty much cut in half.
Once I get the missing Naruto Episodes then I close DC++ and the full speed will be going back to the FTP.
#2 - There's 6 people downloading simultaneously.

Okay, thanks! Just wanted to make sure it wasn't some crazy thing going on my side.
Which episodes are needed still?

If I new how to set up an FTP I have a 120GB hard drive that I dont use that I could set it up on. Would just have to re-format it real quick seeing as it does have some older stuff on it, but I can do that easy.
What kind of connection are you on?
IE : If you and several others donated and I only ended up raising $75 or 100 bucks, I'd still need 77 more, and until I got that the money would just be sitting there. And I'd feel bad because right now I can't afford to drop the other 77 in myself, so the money would be there but the new HDD wouldn't. Y'know?
But if enough people would be interested in raising the 177 needed for a 250 gig HDD, I'd definitely do it.
