Catharsis for everyone it is, then...Pardon if I don't start off in thermonuclear heat...generally I need something to fire me up before I get hot, so these will no doubt sound somewhat lame.
1. Parcelan
I consider Parcelan, in phases, either a comrade who I bear no ill will against, or someone who I loathe and wish nothing but pain and unhappiness for. In the best of times, I find Parcelan insightful, eloquent, and intelligent, but everyone has their mirror within their own personalities, and when Parcelan is on a tear, he is one of the most egotistical, offensive, arrogant little bastards I've ever met.
He brags, swaggers, marches about taking shots at people. Does it reflect a truth? Yes. Sometimes. But truth is not always constructive, it's not always helpful. I may be long-winded, and that is truth, but there is such a thing as taking a truth and making it a barb, a weapon, where no weapon need be. And just as, in a good mood, Parcelan has a genius for storytelling, humor, and beneficent arts, he also has a terrible side that abuses and smacks around.
When I think of those times, that is what makes me hate Parcelan. At his worst, Parcelan would go out of his way to attack people (specifically Lyinar and/or myself), and to some extent still does today.
The fact, however, is that I don't like anyone on the boards 100%. I can find something nasty to say to anyone. At the same time, there's very few people I hate 100%, so I started with someone light. Parce can be a jackass (and no doubt he's going to tear into me, which is fine and healthy), but at the same time he's got some great traits too. So. That's number one on my list. Not Enemy Number One, but certainly someone it's...fun...to tangle with at times, but not someone I want to fight with every day.
2. Snoota
Number 2 on the list is Snoota. Do I hate him? Man, sometimes I want to kick his pasty butt around the flagpole. He's snide, sarcastic, mean-spirited at times, and doesn't know when to shut the hell up about stuff. The WORST part is that lately it seems like Snoota is trying to make up in some way for how nasty Parce used to be (Parce, as I said earlier, has eased off some from what I've noticed).
Now...when he pops into IRC, Snoota's a lot of fun to have around. The problem is that the boards aren't IRC and the timing of Snoota's comments on the boards lack the humor they might have in IRC, and come off as needlessly abrasive.
He also suffers from the "quick hard laugh" syndrome; He doesn't care whether or not the person he's making comments about will take his comments as okay, so long as someone, somewhere will chortle for him. He's so desperate to be agreed with or to have someone validate his sense of humor that he sacrifices his funny demeanor for a fast, hard one-liner that's probably some smartass, abrasive piece of shit.
It's all the more infuriating because when you can get Snoota to say more than two sentences, he's usually right on the money and has something worthwhile to say. Anything less than three sentences, though, and 99% of the time I'd say he's probably being a prick. I like Snoota, but sometimes I just want to throttle him.
3. Fazum'zen
Okay...Has anyone, at any time, ever, seen Fazum'zen contribute ANYTHING of worth? Granted, the boards are a place where you don't have to produce the works of Shakespeare to have worth, but Faz often exists solely to prove that point. Black Mage? Waisztarroz? They're the thousand monkeys on a thousand typewriters compared to Faz, who is living proof that jocks and computers don't mix, martial arts for for dickless ninnies who need to in some way exert dominance over others, and that a lack of sex will eventually damage your brain irrevocably.
He comes into threads, posts one sentence, half the time not on subject and half the time containing some anecdote related to martial arts (in a "hey I can do this" sort of phrasing) and I'm left wondering, time and again "WHO THE FUCK CARES!?"
The only reason I can imagine he still hangs around is because every social group has to have their "Moose" and Faz seems to fit the bill.
All I can think of for now. More later. I'm finding it difficult to set out to attack people...buggernuts...

When I run servers I usually get half the players complaining when he's around that he's ruined an otherwise fun game.

Every time he signs on to IRC I get a headache just wondering what sort of idiocy we'll endure that day. And every time he signs onto any of my game servers, I wonder just how many more players will get fed up with his putrid attitude and quit because of it.
