Maybe. Assuming Sephiroth was conceived around the time Hojo shot Vincent and that I'm remembering things correctly, Sephiroth was between 25 and 30 years old at the time of the game. Of course, Jenova remains a wild card - there's really no telling how it could warp someone's metabolism.

A return of Hojo as the cloaked figure seems more likely the more I think about it. Hellenic Hojo could regenerate, after all..

I'm hoping the Jenova angle is correct, simply because I want to see a fully rendered Jenova. The game's blocky polygons just didn't do it justice.

But vincent was more powerful than cloud on some occasions. ok, like 1 but thats beyond the point.

After seeing the video, I have to say I'm a bit more impressed than just by the screenshots. Definately looks promising

They just made Sephiroth's sword too short... is normal sized now. :/

They balanced this problem by increasing Cloud's to an Xbox^2 sized sword.

I don't think it's the Masamune. They show him holding the Masamune in the Nibelheim flashback. I think it's an entirely different sword.
