Ok, heres the deal. List your favorite movie, and why you picked it. The catagories are Comedy, Drama, Horror, and Action.

In my opinion, I must say that the funniest movie I have ever seen has to be "Old School" because Will Ferrel is a god among comedians. If you have seen the movie, I would also like to add, "Some of you may be thinking, why am I holding this 35 pound cinderblock".

Shadow is nothing but a distortion of light in which an object blocks its path.

If this is true, then why do we fear it?

I think he ment.

but I'm putting down my favorite movie as either, Frank Herbert's Dune or Resident Evil. Just because both movies are very well done and stick to their origins.

Comedy: Robin Hood: Men in Tights. omg that movie made me pee my pants it was so funny!

Drama: Minority Report. Very tense throughout the whole movie. Only movie ever in which I actually liked Tom Cruise.

Horror: Signs. Scary at times. Reminded me of Alfred Hitchcock's works.

Action: X-Men 2. Nuff said.

There's a King on a throne with his eyes torn out.
There's a Blind Man looking for a shadow of doubt.
There's a Rich Man sleeping on a golden bed.
There's a Skeleton choking on a crust of bread.

Comedy: Blazing Saddles - Just a classic, there is no topping it.
Drama: The Shawshank Redemption - Incredible performances from all involved.
Horror: Se7en - R. Lee Ermey, Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin motherfuckin' Spacey. You just can't beat a cast with a script like that.
Action: Terminator 2 - A work of art.

I feel angst for noone mentioning Monty Python and the quest for the Holy Grail for comedy.

I guess Bram Stroakers(sp) Dracula has to take the drama slot.

Horror: 28days later Trust me, go see it. Just the fucking jumpy parts get to you.

Creapiest movie would have to be the Ring though.

Action: Agree on T2 here.

Comedy- Blazing fucking Saddles. You remember that funny line everyone always quotes that you never heard where it was from? Yeah, that one. It was probably from this movie.

Drama- The Green mile. I FUCKING CRIED, OKAY? WHEN HE WAS STRAPPED INTO THE CHAIR WHISPERING, "I'M IN HEAVEN... I'M IN HEAVEN... I'M IN HEAVEN..." I WAS BLUBBERING LIKE A FUCKING BABY.

Horror- Tie between the original Friday the 13th and Friday the 13th VIII(Jason Takes Manhattan!). You little kid homo fags who praise these cheesy horror movies that are made now days forget what helped create the genre!

Action- Le Pacte des Loups. If you can get past the martial arts in France during the 1700s, it has some of the sweetest action scenes ever. Though Hard Boiled comes in a distant second, but is a better movie if you just like mindless violence.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

For what it's worth, my votes are:

Comedy: Tank Girl, my hero!

Drama: Life is Beautiful, but not for sissies who need happy endings.

Horror: Resident Evil, cause it's made me jump more than Se7en (which only made me jump once).

Action: Gladiator, yes I drooled watching Russell Crowe in action.

Drama: Knocking on Heaven's door - Comedy and drama form a delicious melange of greatness

Horror: Hmm... the first Alien movie or Event Horizon

Action: The first Matrix movie was something special

Comedy - The Big lebowski. The chemistry of this movie, nad the acting easily lands it in my spot for the number on comedy, of all time.

Drama - Glory. Matthew Broderick, Morgan freeman, Denzel Washington, So many great actors in one small area, I fail to see how this could be a bad movie. Not only that, but the theme and flavor of the movie was quite possibly one of the most excellent I have ever seen with an unmatched execution.

Horror - Not really a genre, in my opinion. Cheap thrill, maybe. If I had to choose, Alien.

Action - See horror. If I had to chose, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Comedy: Any of the Monty Python/Kevin Smith movies are pure genius. I'm indecisive on this one.

Horror: 28 Days Later. I will not stop going on about this movie, Get the DVD when it comes out in the states, it's great.

Action: (Edited) The Crow. If you'd call it an action movie.

Drama: Shooting Fish. I think it comes under the category of "obscure drama/comedy/Brit Flick" but I think it Just about counts as drama.
