Actually, my favourite melee weapon in RL would probably have to be gloves or gauntlets. Don't ask why. Second favourite would be a pair of daggers, third favourite longsword/shield.

Kat, the first image you posted....

Is that what the Demon Hunter in WC3 uses?

I like those thingies, as improbable possibly as they are...

I'd like to see them in a good action film or something

Red, have fun with the whole two-.50 cal weapons thing. Really. Have a blast.

My favorite weapon will always be a sword. A plain, simple sword. It's what I grew up loyal to and what I will always like.

With that said:

Gun-wise, a Beretta 92FS. Not as powerful as a Desert Eagle--but you don't need too much power to put a bullet hole in someone, and either way, I'll still be shooting when you're out.

In terms of the weapons I own...my favorite is likely my German Longsword. However, the weapon with which I am by far best, as much as I love blades, is...my 'Quarterstaff', a hockey stick with the plastic blade snapped off most of the way. I do in fact practice with it daily, and after three years, I have very much gained a respect for blunt weapons.

Melee: I like my 'chucks, but I'd much prefer a set of properly crafted Wing Chun double butterfly short swords.

Firearms: In the pistol category, sure the DE is a top pick, but I wouldn't chamber mine with a .50, I'd go for the .44 mag chambered version, sure its a smaller bullet, but it also packs an insane powder charge.

for a SMG, few things will ever master the art of the Thompson, sure I could go with an H&K mp5, but...its a thompson man...c'mon.

Assault Rifle: definatly the AK-47, I have an SKS, and its gooood, but the ak is imo overall better, you can just abuse it and it'll still fire faithfully.

Long range: I have hunted long and far for a Springfield 1911 30-06, but them bitches is hard to find, so I'd happily go with a Remington 700.

I'm pretty torn over which weapon I'd rather go with, at least melee-wise. A quarterstaff sounds nice, but I'm not sure how effective it is. Something like a straightedge broadsword could work, or even a short "long"-sword. I'd probably feel like a fish out of water with anything else. Maybe with training in a weapon's proper use they would feel better, but I dunno.

As far as guns are concerned, I'm not sure.

I'd also really love to have a few spears. Something like a pike.

Maybe even a halberd. I wouldn't want a shortspear though.

I used to shoot competitively, and was able to hit a quarter at 400 yards... so my weapon of choice would be a .22 cal bolt action with a halfway decent scope. Some say that a .22 isn't big enough, but it's lethal to six miles, and accurate to a mile (well, depending... a good one is)

and just incase someone ever gets near me, toss a standard issue bayonet on the end. then your rifle becomes a pilum, and the romans perfected close combat with pilums ages ago. One of the nastier weapons, a good balance of offensive and defensive capabilities.

But can you do that with a handgun!?!?

Do most handguns even shoot that far? hehe

not a chance in hell. I need a scope to be accurate beyond about 50 yards, because that's where my vision gets to the point where I'm guessing at the target... I'm somewhat nearsighted...

But for handguns, they're generally not accurate beyond about 20-40 yards, unless they're competitive specialty guns.

And I'm horrible with handguns, I can hit centermass at 20 yards, but that's not saying much...

most don't but if he has a long enough barrel, and the .22 is a .22 long rifle, then yes, it could go that far factoring in a proper flight arc, but that its "fatal" up to 6 miles is eh...a scetchy lethal, unless you get a lucky ass shot that bypasses a rib and hits some vital organs....a .22 won't be very lethal

I'm just saying that the bullet still has enough velocity at the sixth mile to kill... no, you'll never aim and hit something at that range, but it could be a fluke...
