It's all about catching them off guard, like after a double jump, you'll do the actual punch around the same time you land.

And Marth and Roy's B attacks are useful in team games with characters who have incapacitating moves(Jigglypuff's Sing, Mewtwo's Hyponsis.) Both Marth and Roy have probably the best Forward+B attack, as its the starter of a 4 hit combo which can do some devistating damage.

Oh, and Air Dodge is incredibly useful. Especially to Yoshi, as its a closest thing to a triple jump as the poor dinosaurs going to get. And its a nice small triplejump for Ness when your in a tight spot where PK Thunder isnt going to help(between buildings in Fourside.

No one seems to play Ganondorf

I love playing him. Not only because he's big and bad and nasty, he slaps people around better than I did to Liam's mother a few minutes ago. While his running speed is rather slow, most of his attacks aren't. Some of them suffer from big openings (Down + B in midair, hit the ground, big recovery time) but his jab is godly. (Tap A while standing still) It's ridiculously quick and pretty powerful. Also, it serves as a decent way to halt some projectiles. And his jumps are a bit slow, too, but his air attacks more than make up for it.

I play Ganondorf. He's a lot like Captain Falcon, except stronger (and slower, in terms of running speed).

In regards to Marth and Roy...how do you continue the Forward B combo? And what does the down B move do?

Down+B is a counter attack

After the Forward+B, you can chain in 3 other <direction>+B attacks, each one is different, and different again at the period of the combo you do them in(IE, 4 Forward+B's are 4 different attacks)

With Jigglypuff, you need to be literally humping the character, and when you perform it, the characters fly off screen (Whoever's around at the time of rest) You pretty much strike the person with the slight flash that comes off Jiggles.

Marth and Roy: It's all about timing. Just count out 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... (At a decent speed, not too fast though.) And you'll pull it off. Their down + b is a riposte.

the best thing about those forward+B moves, is the horizontal space you displace.

It's great for getting back up on the ring, especially Dr. Mario/Mario, etc. Peach too, but it's limited for her.

Also, Luigi (obviously)

Yeah, You can kinda "wing" yourself closer and closer to the ring with certain characters forward+b's, and then Up+B if you dont quite make if you're still not close enough.

I've survived so many times as Marth just using two Forward+B attacks, then another jump.
