Suddar had this to say about the Spice Girls:
We aren't all rich like you, Xyrra.

Rich? Hardly. I've been out of a job for over a year, and I'm nearly 20k in debt.

My computer is the one thing I've really kept up with, as it's my main entertainment source.

Not meaning that to sound defensive. Just explaining the situation a little more, and if I can manage to keep my specs up to date... I'd guess almost anyone can.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA! SO CLEVER!

Man, the laughing hurts!

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piƱa coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

Not, even gonna really consider buying it. Mainly for 3 reasons:

1) I'm not willing to dish out another $500-$1000 to upgrade my computer just so I can end up spending another $15 or however much it will cost a month to play.

2) Other than sony's current piss poor customer relations rating, I think the GM aspect of it will ultimatly die like it did in EQ where your lucky now to see one on your server every week or so.

3) I really dont think that its going to be the game everyone thinks its going to be. Yea sure it looks great and I bet it'll last maybe 2 or 3 years then there will be EQ3, and it'll require even more, just another damn way to make me spend my money on more upgrades. Now I'm not saying I will never do this, just it seems totally unreal and just plain out stupid to upgrade for a single game. Yea, I know there are going to be alot more like it, but I think I'll wait till a truely stunningly awsome game comes out and there is no other alternative game to play to upgrade a majority of my system to play.

Just my 2 cents which is quite worthless anyways.

I'm not buying a 200G HD I'm thinking around 30G to 50G. I'm not buying a 3.2Ghz processor, probably a 1.5Ghz. The two sticks will be the most expensive on my list. Also, even though I don't work at my old place, I still get good deals on computer parts.

Who's that crazy kook that's destroying the world. It's Zorc (That's me) It's Zorc and Pals.

Zorc: Yes, I was busy destroying the world (laughter) Slaughtering millions. (Laughter)
Bakura: That's my Zorc.

I'll probably play it. I'm already upgrading now, so I'll have a system that can handle it. And since I intend to play SWG and remain playing EQ, then it would be smart of me to take advantage of that All Access plan and be able to play all three for one price.

Lyinar the all access plan won't work with SWG, the licensing with Lucas would not allow for it.

There are stil some of us that enjoy the first EQ immensely.. and would not hesitate to try the second one. Also.. the specs listed in the current FAQ are no more faster than the specs required for Luclin and Planes of Power.

1 Gig + cpu
512 mb ram
64 Meg video card capable of pixel shading (ie. g-force 3 or higher)

There ya go? I dont see the big deal. And as Xyrra stated .. she isnt rich.. neither are Synny and I.. yet our computer is capable of handling EQ, its expansions and then some .. perhaps a vid card upgrade for Syn but otherwise, we are up to date. You dont need to be rich to have a computer with those specs.. just a job.

Oh and this was Synny's response.. I WANT TO TRY THIS NOW!

An 800 Dollar computer from Dell or Gateway would run EQ2 at the given specs with NO problems. As for slowdown. Obviously I can only go by the video buyt the only point I saw where the Framerates got bad is when they entered the castle.

Pleh, I meant EQII, sorry. I want to at least try that out when it starts, and see if I like it. It was early this morning when I posted. Was before we had to go get Simon.
