GOT IT.

I am the pattern master.

9 + 19 + 12 + 2 + 99 + 145 = 286.htm

Patterns:

2,3,5,7,9 - Prime numbers.

3,7,11,15,19 - Add 4 to get next number.

3,4,6,8,12 - 3+3 = 6. The 6 appears two numbers later. 4+4 = 8 The 8 appears two numbers later. 6+6 = 12. The 12 appears two numbers later.

26,13,7,4,2 - Divide in half, round up.

9,18,36,63,99 9*1 = 9. 9*2 = 18. 9*4 = 36. 9*63 = 7. Mutliplyers are 1, 2, 4, 7. 1+1 = 2. 2+2 =4. 4+3 = 7. 7+4 = 11. Pattern in pattern.

43,45,65,97,145 Divide 65 in half. (32.5) Add 32 to 65 = 97. Divide 97 in half. Add answer to 97. 145.

Points of interest about the next riddle.

The font colors.

"Those that arrived early will have a small advantage, those that share all their answers will have no advantage whatsoever..."

The amount of numbers. (Already tried a few different addition/subtraction combos.)

"Anyway your probably anxious to continue with the competition, the problem is you see, you've already seen the answer...."

Just thoughts.

Edit - Also, the font colors are 000000 (black) and 808080 (gray).

Let's see.

1 = 11

2 = 12

11 = 21

12 = 1112

21 = 1211

1211 = 111221

What comes after 111221?

Did I say prime? I meant odd numbers.

Answer to 1.9:

Anklebiter inquired to me as to the Ads on the pages, and if they had been used for riddles. I said no, and thought no more of it. Too bad that was the answer. The Ad for Airfrance had been shown before. My eye caught it as I was staring at the page.

1.11 is a bitch.

Here's what I've gotten sofar:

1 OW
2 KC
3 N
4 FE
5 T
6 M
7 A
8 MLKJ
9 T
10 PS

But there's more to this that I must be missing, because combining all those into one word doesn't work.

Well, it's Maine, not Michigan, but there are 8 states that start with M, so it doesn't matter.

I was also putting FE for Fifty-Eight.

Otherwise, I had them all except for Norway. Couldn't get that one.

Oh, and it's Patrick Stewart. Not Patrick Steward.

He kills their kids, he kills their wives, he kills their parents and their parents' friends. He burns down the houses they grew up in and the stores they work in, he kills people that owe them money. And like that he was gone. Underground. No one has ever seen him again. He becomes a myth, a spook story that criminals tell their kids at night. 'If you rat on your pop, Keyser Soze will get you.'
