But Saddam has killed tons of his own people, and chances are he may do this again. They are trying to remove him, and that's the goal (I'm assuming.) So by removing him, they remove a crazy dictator who really doesn't care if someone dies or not.
I'm probably wrong, but I believe they're doing the right thing by going in there to take him out.

Of course there are going to be Canadians in Iraq since there are some of our troups fighting under the command of the US (it's a sort of Soldier exchange program we have).
Also from what I understand, we are also stepping up our presence in and around places like Afganistan, I believe in anticipation of having American and British troups pulled elsewhere.
That all said, I've gotta say I'm hating this war with a passion for purely personal reasons. The company I work for has Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel and Jordan as major customers of ours. So now we're left scrambling as we a) try to find new sources of revenue since we are expecting to not get any money from that region and b) try to figure out what to do with the Alpha's we're getting to do the Jordan system install that is now being put on hold.
I just hope this shit is wrapped up fast so we can get back to some form of normalacy in this world.
