It's the angle she's in... It will be more apparent when she's on her backdrop. Without the beachtowel and stuff, she looks awkward. The black mat she's on basically has her floating in space at the moment.
The view is coming down from a reversed 45 degree angle.
And by the way, finished color flat. No background yet, cause I'm going to bed. May do that half tomorow.

Nevermind, I see what your saying now.
No the rear isn't too high, and the angle is correct, you shouldn't see anymore back than the tailbone area in a pose like that. However, there is too much of her rib and belly on the left side, and not enough on the right. Left boob should also be raised some.
It was close enough though for me not to restart from scratch. Concidering they are handrawn... That would mean redrawing the whole thing all overagain to match. Pain in the ass, when you're already close enough. Heh, was hard enough the first time.
