Check out a Taurus Raging bull or a Mataba(sp?)

I've looked into this model, and glanced over some of their other models, but it's not quite what I'm looking for.

You want something lighter? Or is it just a departure from the looks you had in mind?

Well, fuck.

Well for Probally a 1/2 a metric assload of moola you can probaly get a machinist and a gunsmith to make you one.

Or find a gun that looks close enough and then Machine the part to add on for the look.

Then he would have to get it serialised with the ATF, etc, etc. Big pain in the ass. This is why I have never finaished my 80% AR15 reciever.

Something imposing. Nothing says "Don't fuck with me" like a big blunt piece of metal that bullets happen to come out of.

The Raging Bulls are nice (and big), but they're too fruity in design. The Trigun model is closer to what I want... it's basically a block of metal, no curved sides or anything like that.

Hmm Ok let me look around and see what I can find. I have a meeting at Kieslers tonight anyway. I will ask Doug and Wes while I am there.

S&W M500 500 Magnum Revolver SS

$949.00 $824.00 On Sale!

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb 13, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE)

The legendary 150-year-old handgun maker, Smith & Wesson Corp., today introduced the largest and most powerful production revolver ever made along with eight other new products at the 2003 Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Orlando, Florida.
The new 500 Smith & Wesson Magnum(R) revolver is chambered for the new .50 caliber 500 Smith & Wesson Magnum(R) cartridge.
"The 500 Smith & Wesson Magnum is a natural progression of our leadership role in handgun development," said Roy Cuny, president and CEO of Smith & Wesson Corp. "Smith & Wesson has a strong customer contingency of hunting and shooting enthusiasts that are continually looking to us for innovation. We produced the original Magnum(R) revolver with the introduction of the .357 Magnum in 1935 and 20 years later amazed the shooting world with the .44 Magnum. Now in 2003, we have once again produced a premier hunting revolver with no equal."
The newly introduced 500 Smith & Wesson Magnum cartridge produces nearly three times the muzzle energy of the .44 Magnum round, which far exceeds all other handgun cartridges.
Based on orders to date from Smith & Wesson dealers, production on the new .50 caliber revolver has been increased. "The demand has far surpassed our original expectations," said Cuny.

Impact is accepting PRE DELIVERY orders. We do not have a frim delivery date. We do have many 500's on order, and as they trickle in, we will ship. We are taking $50.00 non refundable deposits on each order.

Sure, if you're in the market for a 5 pound, $2000 dollar doorstop.

The Mark 23 wouldn't bother me as much if it wasn't A) So fucking huge, and B) So H&K expensive. I mean, it is in no way a carry piece, and as such won't get used for home defense either, for consistency. I wanted one for the longest time, but looking at it seriously, the price is way too outrageous for me. I mean, I'm not a small guy by any standard, so the size doesn't bother me -- but why buy a $2000 dollar handgun as opposed to, say, building a veritable arsenal of AKMs and Makarovs?

It fits in right next to an Accuracy International Chassis for my Remington 700 -- a "Wouldn't that be neat if" sort of thing.

Did someone mention this gun?
Looks like the concept came from this for the Trigun piece.
