I think of Valentine's Day of yet one more day I can shower affection on Deth. I don't reserve it just for then, but it's nice to have a day dedicated especially to it.

And I don't buy him things for Valentine's Day because I have to. I buy him things because I want to and I know they will make him happy

I think of Valentine's Day of yet one more day I can punish my wanger like I caught it breaking into my house. I don't reserve it just for then, but it's nice to have a day dedicated especially to it.

And I don't buy him things for Valentine's Day because I have to. I buy him things because I want to and I know they will make him happy.

In other words, I join in the angst.

If there's an out-of-uniform day at school on Valentine's Day, my friend Laura and I have decided that we're going to dress in all black. She wants to do the goth deal (which involves adding make-up), but I specifically pointed out that I do not and will not touch any make-up because I believe in natural beauty. ^_^

...Unless it was Halloween or a play or something that involves make-up, then yes.

I love Valentine's Day.

Even though you have those other 364 days of the year to show your love and affection, to me anyways, it's just fun to go all out and try and do the most wonderful thing you can for your other half.

I just love seeing a smile on her face, not matter what day it is.

Also: I'm against the idea of Valentine's day as a day set aside just for love and such. Saying "Ok, go and love and be joyous ON THIS DAY ONLY" is kinda regh. As is Hallmark-approved gifts.

Angst level = low to medium
- I'm working a dinner on Friday, I repot in at 9am, I am the head chef of the kitchen. Lasagna, salad, garlic bread and 3 deserts; fruit tart, bakalava, and a chocolate dessert.
- My GF can't attend because she's serving a dinner else where.
- what relieved much angst was a 1.5 hour snuggle session today, love rainy days.
