few words can express my emnity for the mustang, I've ony seen one mustang I respect, and its the SVT one that can eat almost anything alive, and the guy bought it, and modded it for more street racing, othter than that, if you buy a Tang, you don't know shit about fast cars

ps, this is only for this current generation of mustangs, if its a 5.0 or earlier, you sir rock.

Honestly, I didnt buy it to be the fastest thing out there.

I bought it because I liked how it worked, and people I know have never had problems with Ford Cars.

The speed thing is secondary to me, but, well...this was the best lookin car I saw that was affordable by me

Ah, at the low low price of $228,000 before tax.

If I get ten year financing, why, that's only $1,900 a month not including insurance!

I could buy one for $5,000. Good condition, too.

But is it street legal? O_o

Has to be slow as baked moose poo, but talk about handling well in the snow!

Course they are street legal, the armed services have to drive these all over. Big rigs are bigger, and are street legal.

I think they have a top speed of around 60mph. But of course you could add stuff to it to get more mph out of it if you wished.

What kinda fuel economy do you think?

Diesel is expensive

Not where I live... diesel is like $1.20 a gallon. I forget what mileage these get, but it was decent.

Get anything BUT the Jeep. The Wrangler was made for a manual transmission, and as such, its automatic flat-out sucks. Unless they've switched to a four-speed auto for 2003, you'd find yourself in for a rough ride on the highway in a Wrangler.

More taxes on diesel can make it more expensive in certain areas.

And if taxes on diesel drive the price up, you can always use heating oil. ^_^

That's the logic I used, but apparently the local gas stations disagree completely.

Hell those engines would probably run on beer and piss.

I just hope my state does not require a truckers license to drive one, oho. Some states yes, some states no.

Strangely, this seems to be the perfect thread to use that acronym Maradon apparently hates so much (YMMV).

It's just an expression, dammit.

To attempt to impress, of course!

Same thing with the uber-expensive Vanquish V12.

Actually from my understanding of the process, It's about the same to make.

In some states they put high taxes on fuel rather than set up tolls of have road taxes, makes quit a bit of money once you figure out how much fuel a semi take on when they fill up. Normally the lower population/ less urban states tend to raise the prices, how ever most offer a red dye diesel that is intended for farm and off road use. I know here in Jersey the Tuckers/Teamsters have kept the price down.

If I remember right, most of the Military engines have multi-fuel systems on them, most can switch between various fuel-oils and gases (Propane or Methane). Some of the newer engine designs have been made with variable timing and compression so they could be made to switch to gasoline or alcohol (though I do not know if any have yet made it past prototype)

I don't believe the M52 you have pictured would be totally street legal. Its top speed is under 60. You would need at least a CDL, seeing that is a tractor trailer ( I would bet that Mack made it, I believe they made a bunch of the military trucks). If I remember I can ask my dad, He was a SeeBee so I bet he had to drive a few of those at some point... Well order somebody to drive them around, I mean it would be unbecoming of an officer to do grunt work
