THrough all movies, and literature.

things to keep in mind when judging:

Overall Power
Track Record
number of opposing forces

I had this thought while at my Restaraunt last night with Maradon, and thinking to the debate between Aragorn and Drizzt, I figured the boards would be the best place to ask.

and Please, have all candidate be beatable, physical, tangible sentient beings, the great Nothing from the Neverending story, while very powerful, is disqualified...because I said so.

M. Bison from the Street Fighter movie.

I mean fuck, he held off the entire United Nations with his little small army.

Until Jean Claude Van Dam came and superkicked him.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

But I liked the nothing...

Goethe from Schindler's List is probably the simplest evil of evils I can think of, as evil being defined from my ethic's class.

Plus I had to write an exam essay on the bastard. HA! I didn't even watch the movie, read a synopsis, and aced the f00kin' thing. I had no idea what I was talking about.

Sauron's a bloody ant compared to Melkor/Morgoth. I'm sorry, world-destroying/hobbit-worrying is nothing compared to MESSING WITH THE FABRIC OF CREATION AND PRETTY MUCH RUINING EVERY CHANCE AND PEACE AND HAPPINESS BECAUSE YOU'RE A DICK AND WANT TO CONTROL EVERYTHING. Case closed. Melkor gets it.

(Special mention to the Many in SS2 too for being kewl~ that game was horrible to play at night with the sound turned up, yes, I am a pussy). Hell, while I'm on Looking Glass games, the Trickster from Thief was pretty good too!~

Annelid crystal weak? Like hell! That thing is a wrench++. I pwn ALL with that. And when I can't get to melee (MP droids, Kamikaze droids) my laser pistol does a real nice job. Screw the laser rapier, with its AGI of 3 and energy skill of 4..
I now have 250+ Shotgun shells, 300+ bullets, numerous AP and Anti-Person rounds, 120+ grenades, and not a single point in Heavy or Standard.

First off, it's Sephiroth. Second, the amount of suffering and pain Knives inflicts upon Vash...I've never seen an equal to it.

Nakago from Fushigi Yugi.

He would've pulled all the schemes off, too, if the authors hadn't realized that the only way to let the heroes win was to make him uncharacteristically stupid for the last episode. And so they did.

He worked his way up from nothing to evil general and very nearly, evil god. That's quite a bit more impressive than some omnipotent being who decides one day to destroy reality on a whim.

Fistanditalus/Raistlin from Dragonlance also deserves mention.

And though I never played System Shock 1, Shodan scared the bajeebus out of me in SS2.
