"All Quiet on the Western Front" by Erich Maria Remarque

I just finished reading, "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald, "The Wild Shore" by Kim Stanley Robinson, and "The Apocalypse Troll" by David Weber.

I plan on finding my LOTR book and re-reading it after I finish my current read.

Spiffy book. ^_^

I started on The Hobbit about a week and a half ago, but it's so hard for me to get into books anymore that I've only read like the first 3 chapters. My attention span is such shit.

Finishing: I Am Legend by Richard Matheson and Return of the King by J.R.R Tolkien. Hopefully going to read the Silmarilian soon although I hear it's a tough read. Also intend to read Newton's Cannon, just to sorta lighten the load at the end.

I read The Hobbit in like 2 weeks, the last 3/4 in 4 hours. It took me a month to read the fellowship, with work and school I just don't have time anymore.

I managed to read three books cover to cover in less than three days, but the second I get done travelling - I can't even pick the book I started reading before we landed up again.

I read all 4 harry potter books in 2 days when I wanted to ignore my grandma. All a question of motivation.

Good book. Have you heard of the second? I can't recall the title right now. Interesting concept in those books.

Let's see right now I'm hacking my way through The Divine Comedy. Though that is going on hold as soon as CoT comes out. Rand damn well better blow shit up now that he can use the source with impudence.

Hehe, reminds me - my girlfriend wants me to read those books, maybe I should try to ignore my... um... my... GAMECUBE! And read them!

Yes... that'll work!

American Gods by Neil Gaiman. In seven days it'll be Crossroads Of Twilight.
There's a King on a throne with his eyes torn out.
There's a Blind Man looking for a shadow of doubt.
There's a Rich Man sleeping on a golden bed.
There's a Skeleton choking on a crust of bread.

Is American Gods any good? I've thought about picking that up. I've liked his previous books, especially Neverwhere and Stardust.
