Though, if I may suggest, perhaps knowing how often people logged in, and for how long might help you more in constructing your essay. Then you can use inductive reasoning to conclude how much an effect the media has likely had on the participants.
In that vein, I log in daily for about an hour during the week, and will probably camp the boards three or four hours a day on weekends.
