I have a similar condition, albeit nowhere near as severe. I know how bad it sucks when your feel your heart stop and throb in your chest and you have enough time to wonder if it's going to start again.

Make sure you take your perscribed blood thinners. The last thing you need is a clot forming. Lastly, try as hard as you can NOT to be alone at all times. This is very important. If you're incapacitated, then you're out of luck, unless you carry some alert system. A loved one or a care taker is by far the best alert system one can have in a worst-case-scenario with a condition like your's...
Most of all, feel better, and stay positive...

My father had open heart surgery when I was about 8 or 9.. That was very scary, since at the time I was really too young to understand all the details. Since his surgery, he takes a drug everyday called Coumadin, which thins his blood so that his blood can pass through the bi-valve in his heart. (Kinda like oil for an engine, I presume)...I'm really sorry to hear about your condition, Drys. I don't meant that in a "0h dyrsrayt is doing durgs! lolol90!" but rather that doctors can actually screw up more. Like you didn't know that already.
Well, my father was one one type of medication, the the doctor also prescribed him Coumadin and a few days later, he had a massive stroke.
Well...best of luck to you and we'll all do our best so make sure the flames are down at a minimum is not gone during your absence.
